No - there is no way to get the FM3 DLC if you didn’t already download it before September 2013.
What if I purchase items for Avatar?
It isn’t really DLC so don’t think it would count.
You can try it though - if it works there will be many people that are happy with that, but like I said I doubt it will work.
You know what? I think it works. I tried it on Forza 4 and it counted as items bought.
My advice is: try!

Can I suggest changing the thread title to reflect that this has been solved so others looking know there is a way to get this to work?
I would also send ManteoMax a Pm letting him know you have found this so he can add it to one of his lists/posts that contain a lot of this sort of stuff,
where do u go? do u put in f3 and go to the marketplace and buy one of the one dollar avatar items?
Should work - although I got mine via xbox.com, but should be the same end result.

I went to the Marketplace while I ran my FM3 copy. I bought 5 items and then on the next day ding the 100 pts! Hooyay!
