FOOT'S OPEN SOURCE TUNES('95 Ferrari F50, '12 Porsche 911 RS, and more...)

Thank you MrSpud for figuring that out. I had some wicked stomach flu the other day I’m still getting my head clear. Edited OP, again.

I´m running it now as a benchmark for the hotlap competition.
Wheel, no assist, lovely to drive. Really nice balance.
The only thing I changed is drop the brake pressure way down, but that is personal preference with running no ABS and my pedals.

Really nice car!

I initially forgot to include the Forza aero front and rear, I’ve edited the original post. Also don’t forget the 18" rims. I Double checked everything else and can’t find a mistake.

Just to say thanks, with your help my Civic are mutch better!!!

Great work, as always, Foot. Love these.

I must ask, though - the caster values… so much higher than I’m accustomed to seeing. What’s the reasoning?

In real life higher caster provides more stability, self aligning and you can run less camber. I honestly can’t say for sure if it makes that big a difference in game. Just an old habit.

Sport GT - 2009 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1

Tuned this one up for the HLR Hotlap comp at VIR Full. The Vipers seem to be dominating so I tried something a little different.

Really nice car Foot. Built a copy for the HLC and took 3/4 second of my previous time using your tune, might try to slightly adjust for my driving

I’ll try the Vette in the morning and let you know how it worked out.

VIR Full 01:52.0XX would be #43. Turns good I just need to get used to the braking.

Gave it one last go with my eyes burning an managed a 1:51.681 with TCS off (would be #37). To be honest I like this car a lot better with it off. Yeah it’s a little harder but it’s more predictable and forces me to concentrate more.

Vintage Sport Coupe - 1953 Maserati

This is my weapon of choice for the week #5 HLR Hot Lap Comp. Tuned for the 'Ring, it’s probably not the fastest car but it’s the fastest for me. Currently #24 World with a time of 8:14.536 (fastest Maserati). I’ve been running dirty 8:12s, just have to post a clean one.

Hi gtFOOTw, love your stuff, especially the classics. I did not see a tune availble in the “Get Tunes” for the 1965 Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe, so since you so generously provide the Open Source I decided to set it up myself and have been struggling to keep it in under A650. Would you mind confirming for me if I have the build correct below, particularly:

-Spring and Dampers: Sport or Stock?
-Clutch: Race or Stock?

Thanks so much!!!

^^^It appears you’ve done it correct. Springs and dampers are race. Clutch is stock. I double checked my post and it is correct.
If I don’t list a part it is stock.
Just shared the tune, called “Sebring” if you want to try it that way.

Thanks so much for the quick reply!

Sport GT Icons - 2002 Chevrolet Corvette Z06

This is the car I entered in DUST2DEATH’s Welcome to Hell Tuning Comp. It finished 4th or 5th in all 5 rounds so is a great all-arounder. It’s also in it’s native A700 homologation so you can use it in Sport GT Icons.

Forza P1 - 2015 Nissan #23 GT-R

Here’s my entry for the Week #6 HLC. Tuned for Le mans, it has a great combination of speed and grip. Depending on your skill/driving style you may gain some time by lowering the front aero. Only use 2nd and 3rd gear for a flying lap.

If you want to go a little more aggressive the easiest way would be to lower the front ARB and remove some rear aero.

Nice Zonda tune Foot. Have you had a crack at the Lamborghini Sesto Elemento?

It is proving a bit of an enigma around Suzuka.
