I´m running it now as a benchmark for the hotlap competition.
Wheel, no assist, lovely to drive. Really nice balance.
The only thing I changed is drop the brake pressure way down, but that is personal preference with running no ABS and my pedals.
I initially forgot to include the Forza aero front and rear, I’ve edited the original post. Also don’t forget the 18" rims. I Double checked everything else and can’t find a mistake.
In real life higher caster provides more stability, self aligning and you can run less camber. I honestly can’t say for sure if it makes that big a difference in game. Just an old habit.
Tuned this one up for the HLR Hotlap comp at VIR Full. The Vipers seem to be dominating so I tried something a little different.

Gave it one last go with my eyes burning an managed a 1:51.681 with TCS off (would be #37). To be honest I like this car a lot better with it off. Yeah it’s a little harder but it’s more predictable and forces me to concentrate more.
This is my weapon of choice for the week #5 HLR Hot Lap Comp. Tuned for the 'Ring, it’s probably not the fastest car but it’s the fastest for me. Currently #24 World with a time of 8:14.536 (fastest Maserati). I’ve been running dirty 8:12s, just have to post a clean one.

Hi gtFOOTw, love your stuff, especially the classics. I did not see a tune availble in the “Get Tunes” for the 1965 Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe, so since you so generously provide the Open Source I decided to set it up myself and have been struggling to keep it in under A650. Would you mind confirming for me if I have the build correct below, particularly:
-Spring and Dampers: Sport or Stock?
-Clutch: Race or Stock?
Thanks so much!!!

^^^It appears you’ve done it correct. Springs and dampers are race. Clutch is stock. I double checked my post and it is correct.
If I don’t list a part it is stock.
Just shared the tune, called “Sebring” if you want to try it that way.
This is the car I entered in DUST2DEATH’s Welcome to Hell Tuning Comp. It finished 4th or 5th in all 5 rounds so is a great all-arounder. It’s also in it’s native A700 homologation so you can use it in Sport GT Icons.
Here’s my entry for the Week #6 HLC. Tuned for Le mans, it has a great combination of speed and grip. Depending on your skill/driving style you may gain some time by lowering the front aero. Only use 2nd and 3rd gear for a flying lap.
Current best time: 3:24.174.
This R class Hypercar rocket is what I’m using for the Week #8 HLC at Suzuka Full. It’s very stable and should be easy for anybody to push hard.
Current Best Time: 1:59.547, #65 World
