Very cool picture, DL

Thanks CC! ! !

My Carrera in that picture is the one a bit behind, but handling that turn nice and neutral!

So, I just posted a little update; took a little grip off and added a bit of hp! ;^)

enjoy!

Brabham has a good feel with nice damping, but IMO corner entry is too oversteery and exit is the opposite. Some fine-tuning of damper balance between front and rear should fix this.

The rest is ok, nice gearing, nice speed.

Thanks for the comments!

Question: the cornering over/under, at high speeds, low, or all? I’m wondering if it might be a bit to do with where I put the wing adjustment, front/rear balance.

Thanks!

When trailbraking at low to moderate speed. I trailbrake a lot in mid-engined cars.

But I’ve only driven it at Brands.

It appears that the '77 Brabham tune got uploaded without the differential adjustments, corrected on the 17th.

That explains the understeer on exit with the old tune! Thanks.

I’ve tested your F40. The car is very stable but I think you need to start using less diff lock… There’s too much understeer on corner exit. Even when I lose it, the car refuses to spin and I slam it into the wall instead. With 524 bhp and street tires, wheelspin is minimal, which is a sign there’s too much rear grip.

Of course, everyone has different driving technique so if it works for you, then that’s how it goes. It can drive well but requires more “slow in fast out” style.

You are spot on, the F40… garbage. So I tried just messing with the suspension settings to see if I can get the corner exit under steer tuned out, but yes I should rebuild it with less grip, and add some hp too!

…giving the ol’ thread an update; it’s been awhile ;^)

I uploaded a '91 BMW M3 [Forza Edition] (smoker version of the paint also available, please like 'm -if you do?) and a '96 HSV GTSR for some Leagues play this weekend.
