[DewTune] - Formula E Spark thing...A697, because...you know

Whipped this up last night, would love for some people to test it out. It’s shared, just search my name. It’s so quiet, but tune feels solid, other than having basically no top end whatsoever.

Would love to know what people think, I haven’t posted anything up in a while. I did a really quick Martini livery for it too.

Long time no see, I assume by your avatar that you’ve been stuck in the 80s.

Yep, lot of Foreigner and Journey happening in these parts nowadays.

Actually, no, I got a new job and it’s been occupying a lot of time, and what it doesn’t take up is instantly occupado by my 2 and 4 year old. I still play and share my tunes and stuff up, but by the time I’m done, I don’t have the energy to post it up on the forums.

Anyone try this out? This place is pretty quiet these days, eh?

I’ll have a go at it later. I don’t have any tunes yet for that car.

Cool, let me know how you like it!

I use a wheel so it’ll be a good test in tune diversity. Any specific tracks?

Thats a good tune but it’s really loose during high speed cornering. I lose a lot of time controlling the rear end.

I noticed that, I actually eliminated a lot of that with more rear downforce, but I don’t want to lose too much top end, since there…you know…none to begin with… I tuned it on the Nordschleife, so it’s mostly slower stuff… I’ll mess around with the back end tonight.

No matter how much down force you peel off this thing it’s just not going to be a significant enough of a top end gain to outweigh the benefits of playing purely to its strengths. Crank that down force up to around 420/766 and go obliterate the lobbies on the short twisty tracks. Even if there’s a fairly substantial straight where you lose a frightening amount of time vs the other cars you should still be able to come out on top at the end of the lap. My experience has been that if I focus the tune on really maximizing the cars ability to brake extremely late and then carry ludicrous amounts of speed through to corner exit, the car is capable of some pretty shocking lap times. It’s also fantastic at baiting less disciplined drivers into following you into turns at speeds far beyond the limits of their vehicle. Just make sure to get out of the way before they go sliding into your backside on their way off the track.

Tried out this tune in rivals on Long Beach Weast and managed to get it at #46 ( first time a drove a A-class car in this game i think). The tune feels really good and i think it can still go faster. Will try it out more some day and see if I can get more top 100 times. Great job
