I’m wearing my glasses & sitting at a proper distance from my tv, but I can’t t read the incredibly small words. It is really bad on leaderboards.

What size is your tv and how far are you? I’m 7 ft from 48 inch and wouldn’t want to be much further back.
What do you consider proper viewing distance and what size TV are you using? My normal setup puts me 6’ away from a 50" and it works out pretty good and I can read all the forza print. My bedroom TV though puts me 9’ away from a 42" and that is too far to read much. Hmm, maybe I need to upgrade a TV to 60-70".

Proper viewing distance is approximately 1 foot per every 10 inches of screen size, from what I have read. For example, my kitchen has a 21-inch TV monitor and it’s more than 5 feet from the nearest seat, so it’s a struggle to see captions with my glasses (yes, I’m hearing and vision impaired). On the other hand, i have a 42-inch plasma HDTV down in my man cave and sit 7 feet away. Normally it’s fine, because I edited my captions to be slightly larger and red text on a white background than the standard captions. But in Forza 6, reading the screen is a joke. Even if I move to the recommended viewing distance of 4 feet, it’s still difficult to read much of the vehicle stats and similarly-sized text in the game.
I tried setting my Xbox One to display at 720p which didn’t work. Then I tried using my TV remote to zoom the screen according to the Xbox’s “Calibrate HDTV” instructions. Still not much of a difference.
5’ from a 50" and agree some of the fonts are a bit small. (Vehicle stats and +- weights)

I’m about 7ft from a 50" TV whilst I’m home from Uni and I struggle to read the text, even when I put my glasses on, would be nicer to see slightly larger text.

I’m about 3.5 metres from a 42 inch TV and couldn’t read diddly in the demo. Had to squint. Granted my glasses prescription needs updating, but it’s not that bad! I can read all the stuff in Forza 5.

I know I can’t be the only one that despises this, but why does the font size for the car stats have to be soo small?!?! I’m sitting maybe 4’ away from a 46" 1080p LCD and I can barely read the performance stats and power/torque/weight numbers for the cars. That stat section easily could be expanded upwards towards the brand logo and left towards the car image. Heck, there’s a lot of wasted space just between each line. I know I can’t be the only one struggling to read those numbers when browsing through the car buy/select screen. Not everyone has 80"+ screens or ceiling mounted projectors.
Side rant: let us choose our control layout right from the very beginning. I hate being forced into a default button layout, where I get stuck fumbling around for the view change, gear up, gear down, handbrake, etc. Those of us that have played for years have a favored layout and forcing us into something completely different, even if just for one race (although it seemed like it was four races here) is just wrong.

Not sure what layout you use but the default layout hasn’t changed since at least F4. I hate when I play other racing games that have shifting as the analog stick or anything other than B/X.
I believe I use controller layout 3. I personally prefer B/A as my upshift/downshift buttons. Closer together than X/B and, for me at least, less chance of accidentally hitting one of the other buttons when downshifting.
My God, why can’t people use the search function on the forum?

The font is way too small. Most people do not have absolutely perfect vision. I have a 58" TV and I sit about 10’ away and it is a struggle to read. Turn 10, please give us the option to increase the font size. It’s giving me eye strain.

I sit 9’ away from my 55" TV I can barley read the print and I have 20/20 vision bigger font would be nice maybe I just buy and 80" TV instead

If you use the right stick to rotate the home space graphics behind the menu it becomes a lot easier to read
This is a bit of a pandemic in current gen gaming, far too many games have tiny fonts, and Forza 6 is the same…I think T10 must be ageist

I’ve noticed this in many of my xbox one games as well. I think that a lot of developers assume that, because everyone has to be playing this generation of consoles on HD tv’s, they can get away with insanely small text. I sit about 10 feet away from a 42 inch 1080p tv and my vision isn’t bad, and it is literally impossible to read some of the text in this game.
