FM7 - Toyota Production Cars Rumor

Will this mean no NASCAR variant?

Well, that’s a race car so it could be OK. The AR12 article said Toyota race cars are in.

So, is every new Forza title going to be subtitled ā€œGuess which manufacturer isn’t in this time?!?!?ā€ for now on?

Didn’t see this coming, hopefully won’t effect lexus but as Toyota is their parent company I guess you never know. Gutted that there won’t be a Supra of any sort to drive this time around

Turn 10’s worst fault.
I expected JZX100 Chaser and Celica XX.
And above all, I have a shock that I want to commit suicide by losing my beloved Celica GT-Four ST205.

EA, SEGA, Bandai Namco, Genki, UBI … various game makers got license permission.
It is strange why large companies as large as Microsoft could not obtain permission from Toyota which is more permissive to licensing than Honda and Ferrari.

This is sad news to hear; however though, until the full list is revealed I’m hoping that this isn’t true

Though how saddening this is to see production Toyotas go it could open a lot of the car list open for new to Forza cars in FM7. I’m out of town right now but can anyone add up all of the production cars FM6 and FH3 make together in Toyota? Obviously not overlapping of course but if someone could that would be awesome and would give us an insight into how many new to Xbox One cars we may get.

I did the math… could be wrong but I counted we will be loosing 13 Toyota’s if you count all the production cars from FM6 and FH3 (DOES NOT INCLUDE HE OR F&F CARS)

These are the Toyota production cars on previous Xbox One Forza games:
2013 Toyota GT86
2007 Toyota Hilux Arctic Trucks AT38
2003 Toyota Celica SS-I
1998 Toyota Supra RZ
1998 Toyota Supra F&F Edition
1995 Toyota Supra RZ F&F Edition
1995 Toyota MR2 GT
1994 Toyota Celica GT-Four ST205
1992 Toyota Celica GT-Four RC ST185
1992 Toyota Supra 2.0 GT Twin Turbo
1989 Toyota MR2 SC
1985 Toyota Sprinter Trueno GT Apex
1979 Toyota FJ40
1974 Toyota Corolla SR5
1974 Toyota Celica GT
1969 Toyota 2000GT

Does the Hilux count Max considering it’s in the FM7 list?

The Hilux doesn’t count as production vehicle because it’s a TUNED one. It’s the pickup truck used in Top Gear to reach the North Pole. It has larger tires suitable for snow and ice, taller suspension, etc. It is NOT a Hilux straight out of the factory.

Since I want Toyotas in the game one way or the other, I’d better look for TUNED road-legal versions of their cars (Mine’s, etc.), as well as RACE cars, to dump them in my wishlist.

It would be helpful if they could add a car list of the Toyotas, including RACE cars, they actually manage to get in the game.

For some reason, I suddenly want Gran Turismo’s iconic white, red and green 1996 Toyota Castrol Supra GT, a JGTC race car, which didn’t actually appear in that series since GT2.

Damn shame about the GT86 (though we still have the Subaru BRZ to race if you like the collaboration car). We still have the Toyota racers, which is a consolation…

This is a Toyota move, not a Turn 10 move… haven’t got the foggiest why they’d do it though…

Is this the best racing game on E3? AHA?

Forza 7’s first bit of bad news, what an absolute bummer. I wonder if Lexus will be in the game or not. Let’s hope for a Supra in a future DLC. Sad day for FM fans but I’m still really looking forward to September

I can’t wait to see an official statement from Turn 10
