What car do you guys think will be on the cover of FM7? I don’t really have an idea. Maybe the AM-RB 001?

I’m hoping it’ll be the 2017 Ford GT again since this year is going to be its year to shine.

As soon as I saw the GT2 RS i knew that had to be it. Leading up to the E3 conference I was 95% certain that Porsche would be the cover car.

I thought it was going to be the Bugatti Chiron, you know, the fastest production car in the world makes a comeback.

But i guess it makes sense with Porsche being the cover car, since Porsche is in the base game now.

Since there’s only one discussion forum, what do you guys think of the new GT2 RS being the cover car?

At E3, Turn 10 announced Forza 7 and debut it’s cover car the 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS. While I’ll admit, it looks nice, but in all honestly I vote to have the 2017 Ford GT to be the cover car instead. I would love to ask Mr. Greenawalt why can’t they have the Ford GT be the cover car? I can see why they have the Porsche be the cover car being Porsche itself is now part of the roster, but I just like the Ford more. I understand it was already the cover car of Forza 6, but that was a concept car and was not ready for production, and it didn’t make it’s full potential due to how the career was made. Now since it’s 2017, I was hoping that the Ford GT would get the spotlight it properly deserved. I’m still going to buy the game, don’t get me wrong. This is just one thing to get off my chest.

The Ford GT is old news. Really old news in fact, given it was the cover car for what will be a two year old game. Whereas the 2018 GT2 RS literally didn’t exist in the public domain until Turn 10 said so.

Only makes sense for them to choose the most new and exclusive car in the game for the cover.

It fits because this will be the first forza game since forza 3 to have Porsche at launch. Everyone who buys this game gets to drive Porsches anywhere and everywhere they want, even though they will be largely uncompetitive unless turn10 update the PI system.

  1. The Ford GT was the cover on Forza 6. Using that again wouldn’t look like change/progress.
  2. Turn 10 and Porsche have just signed a 6 year deal together so it makes sense that it is a Porsche.
  3. It reinforces the fact that Porsche are in the game from launch.
  4. It’s just a cover. The actual content of the game is 10 million times more important.
  5. You like the Ford more, but others will like the Porsche more. The Ford will still be in the game so just use it in the game.
  6. You’ll probably look at the cover for 5 seconds then put it on a shelf for 2 years.

Why would you want the GT to be the cover car for the second time in a row? It makes no sense.

I’ve no real love of the 911 derivatives, sure they progress technically but it’s like they’ve been making the same car for over 50 years. Not saying I’d be gutted to find one under the Christmas tree mind you but there are other manufacturers that I get a little more excited about.

For the Porsche lovers out there the GT2 is about as good as it gets and because the cover car only appears on the game cover should you buy a physical copy and probably the first intro race it doesn’t really make a lot of difference what car they use.

I’m not much of a Porsche fan, I’m more of an American muscle car fan. would have loved to see the dodge demon as the cover car.

The Porsche is rather boring. I wouldn’t mind having basically the same dull flattened 911 design they’ve been milking for a couple of decades as the cover car if they hadn’t gone with such a bland, colourless paint job.

Does it really matter what the cover is??? Who cares? You aren’t playing the cover. Pretty sure most people buy digital copies anyway
