Nice one, I’ve been wishlisting for Super GT cars ever since July and this is a good start. I hope the PI is generous, as I would love to have this at R/900. If it’s in P then it’ll unfortantely get outclassed by the Mazda 787B. Given that the GT-R matches LMP1 times at Fuji though, I reckon it’ll be in the P/960 range; if that’s the case I hope it’s competitive.
Interestingly, the “Super GT” logos have been censored out of the car, which suggests that Turn 10 didn’t get that through licensing. That may potentially mean that this is one of the few potential Super GT cars we’ll see at all in the game.
I’ll wait and see if somebody else can make it competitive. I’ve barely touched the Torana or the Commodore and I suspect I’ll not get round to this one either.
This is neat, I wonder what PI it’ll have. The Formula Ford is in the S range so I imagine this’ll be similar. A one-make League would be great to have, I’d race in it all week.
1979 Opel Kadett C GT/E
Google brings up some nifty race versions of this, might be fun in the lower classes.
And before anyone posts “T10 DOESN’T LISTEN TO THEIR FANS”, please look at any page in the wishlist and count how many times you see:
-Super GT cars
-Lykan Hypersport
-Toyota TS040 Hybrid
And since there is no pic posted in the article for the Opel, here’s something from Google.
I don’t want to ruin your day but the TS040 is about on par with the 2014 Audi R18 e-tron. Except we can change the restrictor plate on the Audi but we can’t on the TS040. I’m still pleased for the TS040 though, it was on my wishlist.
As for the Holden, erm, yeah, I don’t particularly like or dislike aussie cars really. Another old Holden though. Nah. I would however love an Holden Maloo…
Just makes me mad how you can look and see tons of requests for V10 era F1 cars and we still don’t have one…
Then you got lemmings in the wish list just spamming requests for hypercars and nothing else, we have enough road cars and hyper cars…
Yeah, I hear you. There are some cars that dominate the wishlists and show up in packs, and there are some that don’t. As with any car pack, someone’s dreams are going to be made true, someone’s dreams are going to be crushed. None of these cars I deeply wanted, but they all look interesting to me. I hope everyone can find at least one car in here that they like in the end.
My thoughts on the pack, pre-drive:
-Lykan - I am curious to see how this performs, whether it actually has some redeeming merit to it or it’s just an expensive powerhouse of a car that can barely contain itself.
-TS040 - I am also curious on this one. I’m hearing already that it can’t top the 787B (I’m not surprised), but it should still be a fast grippy machine.
-GT-R GT500 - Glad to see another genre be put in FM6. I wonder if this is the start of more to come, or this was put in just because.
-Formula Mazda - Rotary powered spec series? That’s sure to be fun!
-Opel - Everytime I think of the Kadett, I think of Car and Driver’s scathing review of the 1968 Kadett L. Thankfully, I think of rally next, and this one was closer to it’s rally car brother than the controversial model. Should be interesting.
-Kenmeri Nissan - Here I can say with all honesty and effort…meh. I don’t hate the car, but I don’t think there’s that much difference between this one and the KPGC10 already in the game. Those that are deeply in the know can correct me.
-Holden - Looks nice! I know some people here are saying “another Aussie car?” and to that, do keep in mind two things. One, that Holden won’t be a thing anymore real soon, and two, that Australian cars have been severely underrepresented in Forza history; when you take away the V8 supercars, the only Aussie cars we had before FM6 DLC were the Holden HSV w427, Holden HSV GTS, and Ford XB Falcon GT. That’s all of three cars, so there isn’t any saturation occuring. I’d rather have a new Holden every month than a “flavor of the week” German 3 car.
Literally said nothing about “race cars” and the race cars in comparison with all the road cars and hypercars in dlc and in the game is nothing. The hypercars and supercars that are in the game aren’t even competitive either, the only reason to have them is cause they look pretty. All I want is one freaking X Class car to fill the gap from f1 1988 to 2015
I like cars that can stack up well against other cars, this game isn’t about strolling in your supercar on a Sunday Evening, its about racing, and I race to win. If there is a car added that is not competitive, what is the point? And I really don’t know where the PI thing came from
Are you kidding me? There’s only one car in this list that’s classified as a ‘tuner’. The rest are a muscle car, a super car, a few race cars and a little Opel.
maybe i was alittle wrong in what i said but still not a very strong pack Toyota once again that looks just like the other one they put in a old nissan gtr that isnt even new at all.
