why turn 10 why⦠another pack i wont be buying. forza 6 has the worse dlc packs of the series so far. sort it out lads
To each their own i guess, but I think FM6 has had the best DLC packs of the series. Great mix of road cars and race cars, new and old, and nothing but new cars to the franchise so far, no recycled stuff in sight.
Hopefully we might see some more Aussie Supercars being included from the Ford ranks.
Seeing that Fird are one of the main sponsors of FM6⦠Like say some of the early Ford Gts, XR, XT, XW, XY including the Phase 1-4 ( the phase 4 came out only as a post production XB GT⦠The Phase 3 was a brute monster of a car, and went on to win several Bathurst series enduros.
The Opel in this pac is also a copy of Holdens Gemini range in Australiaā¦
The Holden GTS 350 was Australiaās equivalent of the Pontiac GTO of similar vintage. But it also came out with the Aussie 308 V8.
Bob Jane ran the 350 as a very competitive circuit racer on all of Aussies great tracks, including the Warick Farm Raceway, before the course was retired from the professional circuit, sadly.
Hopefully some of for as great livery artists could replicate some of Australiaās great drivers livers from the early and mid 70ās - pleaseā¦
The rest of the pack represent some interesting Motorsport history, and yet still has more modern cars to wett most racers appetites, hopefullyā¦
Good bunch of cars.
We have to understand that not each pack will suit all players ideas of the perfect cars, but they do supply a car for at least several groups rather than pleasing just a few. Itās best to supply a broader range, than focus on select classes or styles.
Itās up to us, as racers, to choose the cars we want to upgrade, leave as standard, or simply sell. To race them in the class or style we choose⦠After all, isnāt that what racing is about⦠Thatās why thereās so many different types of racing, and different classes within those styles.
Be thankful we are getting a broad spectrum of cars, rather than a narrow field of choices⦠This pack takes my garage to to almost 400 cars area. I might not get a chance to race every one of them, but at least I get a chance to inspect, test and try them all outā¦
No Corvair, you win again Ralph Nader. But seriously though, Iām actually pleased with the pack: a Super GT GTR, a '70s Monaro, a new Opel, and the Lykan. I had a hunch that the Lykan would fit clue 1, but I ended up going with the Aventador SV as my guess. Well, time to work on some designs before it releases.
Pack looks decent to me ā Iām itching to get into that Super GT GT-R. Hereās to hoping the Motegi mention leads to the trackās return via a booster pack of some sort!
I wouldnāt read much into the mentions in descriptions. Also, Japanese track licensing has been tricky as of late, as apparently those circuits have been quite demanding in terms of cost and licensing agreements. Gran Turismoās a locally developed game and probably gets preference/discount but most Western titles have been struggling to get Japanese track content into their games over the past year or two. Codemasters get a free pass on Suzuka since it comes as part of their Formula 1 license but I canāt think of any other Western title thatās released in the past 2 years with any form Japanese track content.
Love the fact that SuperGT is back. We just need some more SuperGT cars for it to race against now (Pointless on its own! Hint hint T10!)
I also noticed the lack of the Autobacs logo on the GTR. Thats got licensing issues written all over it. Possibly why its taken this long to see the first SuperGT car since FM4!
Now I really want to buy another Xbox One! I figured the packs would be returning cars that I donāt like or new race cars that i again, donāt like. I like the retro/classic cars of the 70s/80s and 90s and the last few packs have added nice cars from those eras. Pure kick in the teeth, but at the same time the online was terrible. Canāt wait for FH3 as the Motorsport games arenāt likely to see user created lobbies again anytime soon.
Iām more amazed than anything the number of Australian cars they keep chucking at this game. ANOTHER Holden? Really? Anyone would think they were Ferrari the regularity they are getting Aussie cars added. I really donāt care in the slightest about them but it must be good for Holden fans I guessā¦!
Two Nissans in one pack as well as the not very notable 2015 Toyota prototype that will probably drive near indistinguishable in the game from the 2014 Rebellion built Toyota powered one already added in another DLC pack! Generic WEC cars. Hmmm.
I am not exactly impressed here. The little Formula Mazda might be interesting though, depending on itās PI.
Comparing the TS040 to the Rebellion is ridiculous, considering it has nearly twice the horsepower and AWD thanks to its hybrid system. This thing will make the R-One look like a Prius in comparison.
Dude I really donāt know what youāre going on about. The differences that Carlson mentioned make them night and day apart. They make them Milky Way and Andromeda apart. If youāre going to compare the Toyota to anything, itāll be a lot closer to the Audi than anything else. Those two cars were direct competitors. So your remarks about recycled content in this case are grossly inaccurate.
