FM6 July Car Pack Clue Thread

Clue 1: Maybe it’s the Peugeot c60 because Peugeot have some sort of a cat in their logo.

Clue 2: It must be the Deltawing, they have never taste the tarmac in the Forza games.

Clue 3: Hmm…hard one but I’ll go for the BMW 600 or the Isetta.

#1 i have to give a vote to the jaguar gt3 car but the pantera would be amazing

#2 i think the deltawing crossbreed is the obvious choice for this clue

#3 i believe will be the issetta but the question is will it drift

#1 bill thomas cheetah or mgb-gt becuase its cool

  1. Panhard Dyna Z Tigre/DB - Charles Deutsch built a number of race cars (some quite successful at punching above their weight) based on the Dyna Z and its 850 cc “Tigre” flat twin engine, including a particularly wild 1964 Le Mans prototype with a supercharged version of the engine with a top speed of 140 mph.

  2. International Harvester Scout - Requires “global effort” to be a bit of a play on words regarding “International”. In 1976, both Spirit of '76 and Patriot special editions were produced with red, white, and blue liveries, and the Scout had a lot of success racing in offroad events, particularly the Baja 1000.

  3. Bitter CD - Spent a lot of time thinking and researching and thinking some more about what “Italian oddity” could mean, other than the bubble cars spawned from the Isetta. More the fool I, because inspiration for an alternative answer was right under my nose the whole time. The Iso Rivolta and Grifo were beautiful Italian-bodied coupes with big American V8s, part of a trend in the 60s and 70s for several Italian firms (including De Tomaso). Several years later in '69, Opel would reveal a prototype which would eventually evolve into the Bitter CD, a Corvette-engined coupe with a body largely designed by Frua. A German take on the original Italian “hybrid”, and certainly an oddity.

Clue #1 Reliant Robin
Clue #2 A Rambler Gasser
Clue #3 Flip Car (I ran out of ideas)

A Rambler Gasser would be oh so cool!

From the three clues given, I am already feeling that I will pass on this DLC, and I don’t have a clue as to what cars will be included.
With the exception of the Pantera, I hope everyone is wrong!

#1 I dont want to say Jaguar, but I can’t think of anything else. So maybe a predecessor or successor to the Le Mans model we have right now.

#2 I’m going to have to agree with the general consensus and say the Delta wing. It would also fit the “never in a FM game” description as well.

#3 BMW Isetta. They took some design cues from Fiats of the time for it.

I’m gonna say #3 is that 6 wheeled Mercedes monstrosity the G 63 AMG. Gotta get the SUV in there.

#1 i’d go with E-type lightweight Race car Jag,
#2 The new Updated Deltawing
#3 Maybe an Isetta, since 3-wheelers are gonna be in FH3, this would be a great first hands impression on it

[Mod edit - WSD- off topic]

Interesting hints. I can’t wait to drive them on Tuesday (I have a this need to own all of the DLC for Forza titles - not true for me with any other game btw).

HINT #1: This cat is the David to the factory works Goliath teams.

Bugatti Chiron, Jaguar F-TYPE SVR, or maybe even the Pantera is coming back!

HINT #2: It may seem Stars & Stripes, but this racer is a truly global effort.

Ford Mustang EcoBoost

HINT #3: Germany’s take on an Italian oddity.

Volkswagen Karmann Ghia (very similar to the Alfa Romeo Giulietta which was release a year earlier).

#1 Jaguar F-Pace, somewhat of an udnerdog in the SUV market
#2 Ford Focus RS RX
#3 Definitely the BMW Isetta, an oddity through and through

Quick search of Emil Frey Jaguar showed this link so this is a good answer:

As for the Deltawing, I would hope it’s the original 2012 version that raced at Le Mans as the 1st Garage 56 entry and when it got punted off course, the driver frantically tried to fix it on track before having to retire it. The aftermath consisting of sorrow was seen in all the garages that evening, and the driver that hit the DeltaWing even visited the DeltaWing garage to offer an apology, and this years’ Le Mans race of Toyota’s heartbreaking final-lap defeat sort of reminded me of the original DeltaWing’s experience.

Plus, the convertible version looks better that the silly bobbleheaded coupe version.

1st car: Halo 6 Warthog
2nd car: Halo 5 Warthog
4rd car: Halo 4 Warthog

HINT #1: Jaguar XJR-14?
HINT #2: deltawing?
HINT #3: fiat tomahawk?

  1. Emil Frey Jaguar G3

  2. Deltawing

  3. Gumpert Apollo or Apollo Arrow

There are a lot of great picks already, so I’m thinking a bit out of the box here.

HINT #1: This cat is the David to the factory works Goliath teams.
Tiga GT285 - Small team IMSA GTP racer. Interesting counterpoint to the existing IMSA racers. It’s also a cat

HINT #2: It may seem Stars & Stripes, but this racer is a truly global effort.
#76 1976 Chevrolet Corvette Widebody. The charity who does amazing work around the globe sponsored this Corvette and also a Porsche 956 Group C monster with the boldest Stars and Stripes livery I’ve ever seen.

HINT #3: Germany’s take on an Italian oddity.
BMW Nazca C2 - Italdesign beauty by Giugiaro. This could also be the Audi Aztec, another Italdesign oddity.

Can’t wait regardless of what we get!
