There are those of us that need to learn the track first. That thing might take 6 months to learn how to run a clean lap on for us newbs… Where’s the keys to my Mini?
Back in forza 1 my first online race was at the nurburgring and i had no idea the track lines and still won but if you have pure skill you can master the track in a week lou
Read my mind, Lou. I was going to say Mini, too. Just seems like common sense to me. It’s a brand new track and by all accounts, a difficult one. If I start with the Venom, I’m sure I’ll spend half of my time in the picnic area.
That was my thinking too, the Mini is great for learning a track and having fun doing it. But I luckily had just by chance ran the Ring in F4 last night so I was a bit fresher on the layout than I might usually have been. I figured I’d run the first few laps in the 1976 Ferrari #1 Scuderia Ferrari 312T2 as an Homage to Niki Lauda. First lap I went off track half dozen times with three serious run ins with the guard rails. Man is this track much more challenging with the more realistic elevation changes and narrower (realistic) width!
But lap two I ran clean and came in a 8:03, not a blistering time by any means but that was with a squirly tune and only lap two. Then I had to go run errands. Grump Grump Grump.
O well at least I got a taste, and boy is it yummy! I know what I am going to be doing for the next 5-10 hrs.
