I bougth Forza Motorsport 5 Limited Edition and the benefits of the code I redeemed are available only to me (VIP, limited edition car pack, etc.): my other family members registered on my XBox One (my children) don’t have the benefits I have, even though the console is the same.
Is it correct that a code is associated to a single live-id instead of the console? If I buy a game for my console I don’t think I should also buy a code for any member of my family!!! In the package there’s nothing that says that the code is like a “per user license”.
What should I do to share the benefits I bought (…and spending a lot of money!) with the other players registered in my console?

I have 4 questions;

  1. I cannot find anywhere what cars are in the November (Launch) car pack, December car pack or any other car pack apart from the January one.

  2. I’d like to know how much individual DLC cars cost in Australian currency if possible, US price will also be okay to give me an idea.

  3. What extra cars come with the collectors edition copy of FM5 that cannot be purchased with the standard edition?

  4. What’s better about the standard Forza 5 day one edition over a later normal copy?

I’m wanting to know all this so I know what copy of the game to buy and what it’ll likely cost me all up.

Sorry bro but I have, for about an hour and could not find any of that information, I don’t yet have an xbox one so I cant look at the Forza store front or anything. I looked on the Forza page of Xbox.com, the Forza facebook page, IGN website yet I was NOT listed anywhere.

So there is no December car pack? And no one knows what individual cars cost?

I knew what cars were in January pack and now I know what cars are in the La Fa-Ferrari pack.

Where are my cars!!! Is there some kind of delay? I went to my message center and downloaded all the cars in the “Gift” category. There were only 4 available… am I doing something wrong? Is this a common issue? Any help is appreciated!!!

Buying DLC does not gift cars to you - you have to buy or rent them like the regular installation cars. The LaFerrari may have been one of the gift cars, but the rest would have been Forza Reward cars.

Thanks for the help, MateoMax. I also purchased the VIP pack, but I’m not receiving 2x points. I’ve been playing in “Rivals”. Am I missing something?

SuperCabes68, the VIP “2x player reward acceleration” only applies to Driver Level - there’s no XP bonus points for VIPs. If you are receiving 70,000 credits each time you increase your Driver Level then you have the acceleration. The only time you might not get any increase is by Renting a car - you have to use a car from your My Cars list in order to get race payout credits and XP.

DawnShadow85, prices for car packs are listed on page 1 of this thread (your thread was merged here to keep the topics together). Regular DLC packs cost $10 US and individual cars cost $2.99 but not all cars can be added individually - I’ll go through and update that information at the beginning of this thread or in each DLC overview post. There was no DLC car pack in December - it went from the November LaFerrari pack to January IGN.

There’s so many cars to buy but more than half of them are locked. When I click on the ones that don’t say DLC it says “installing content. You are free to continue playing while the installation completes.” Am I missing something. All the skylines and mustangs and stuff have to be unlocked somehow? That message also showed up after one of my races when I pressed continue. Please help

Sidewinder, your thread was merged into this one. The full car list is in the 4th post in this thread. Only one of the Skylines is a DLC add-on. Did you install from disc or digital? If you go to your console dashboard Store and select at the add-ons for FM5, do any of them say Install (rather than Buy)?

I saw on the Xbox Live Games Store that it is possible to purchase Forza 5 VIP after the fact for $20. It still lists the benefits as they were announced over the summer, including 2x rewards benefits. I am wondering how the first patch that balanced the economy (including doubling the rewards given to all users) affects new purchases of Forza 5 VIP. Has this just been overlooked, or will rewards be doubled again? If they aren’t it doesn’t seem that there is any benefit to purchasing it besides the $10 of tokens included and VIP events.

Any clarification would be really helpful.

Non vip get 35,000 when leveling up and vip get 70,000 now after update. :slight_smile: Oh sorry and no tokens with marketplace vip, only limited edition gets tokens.
