FM Update 22 info: Rivals, Challenges, and Tours through December 2025

But… but… Forza Motorsport is a “Racing Platform for the Future” according to Dan Greenawalt. Surely Turn10/Microsoft wouldn’t mislead us? Right?!

For those of us who paid for this “It’s not a service game. This is a AAA game” game, rather than just playing on Game Pass, it leaves a bad taste in the mouth. Some of us even bought new Series X consoles to play this game.

Maybe it’s all in the details: a racing platform for the future that can evolve with its audience.

And now that said audience is… minimal…well you get the idea.

Would be nice if theyd say if new content will ever come.

At least the games in a good state.

If the game was in a good state, people would play it, if people played it, Turn10 wouldn’t have been shuttered, and we would be getting regular content drops and QoL updates, but you know this !

The game is in a better state than it was, but it’s still by far the worst motorsport game we’ve ever had ( maybe on a par with 5) and the players have voted with their feet and wallets. No amount of wishful thinking, asking Turn10 on forums is going to change that unfortunately.

@T10ManteoMax Is there a chance for a new racesuit tor the Mclaren Challenge.

As the Mclaren Liveries were made by the Turn10 team for the Indycars, can we have the Mclaren Indycar team racesuit to match.

I guess 18 months is still the future, just a much shorter future than we were hoping for :(.

It was nice when they started to bring back content that should never have been temporary in the first place, but it was way too little too late to be any real motivation to install such a behemoth again. Even the graphics they promised wouldn’t have justified the install size, and given that we got worse fidelity and fewer tracks and cars than 6 or 7, that is just another unforgivable for this title. I still need to finish FM2, but then will be done with the franchise. Coming in at 5 it was an incredibly exciting time and I’m glad I got to be part of it.

Turn10 didn’t make the liveries. They outsourced the job to @PTG_Stuzib85.

Oh, I didnt know that.

When the post came along from Turn10, id just assumed they did them.

I think he made all the 20th Anniversary liveries too, so it looks like Little Vixen and the other staff who made special and gifted liveries aren’t there anymore, or have been redeployed elsewhere. Another old Forza nice thing missing from this game.

I’m starting to get bored of racing the same tracks over and over again, especially compared to Forza Motorsport 7, which has many more tracks.

Guys gran turismo 7 Is still supported After almost 4 years with spec III update announced Yesterday, here there are people, me included that bought a series x for play this game, i think that Is not correct in respect of your customers to cut support and new content for design errors that are on your side and not made by us.

We pretend more content be cause we have gived you our Money on a promise of a Long post launch support

Most of them left are working on Horizon Japan and porting it to PS5. They probably have a few on 2023 flipping switches and keeping the lights on. I’ll take a good bet that after this turn 10 merges into Playground and Motorsport is no more, sadly.

There were no promises and I dont know if you’ve heard, half the studio lost their jobs. The layoffs wouldn’t have been part of the plan when they announced this game.

So while its unfortunate active development has ended, i think its more unfortunate that all those people lost their jobs and we’ll most likely never see another motorsport game.

At this point I’d say more likely they are developing FH6 for PS6 and leaving the Xbox port until they can be sure there will be a platform to develop for. Microsoft coils definitely still publish it, which seems to be all they are really interested in now.
