Fix the steering lock

The steering lock on forza 5 is ridiculous. It’s half of what it really should be and it makes it hard to get angle and control it when drifting. Turn 10 could you please fix this?

They need to add the option to buy and install an angle kit in the upgrade menu.

There’s actually a lot of steering angle in Forza, it’s just not in the visible animation.

Agreed Minty. There is plenty of lock. Angle is not a problem in this game. If anything, I find that my cars can hold a surprising amount of angle with the right tune. Try getting used to the game or adjusting your tune before just blaming turn 10.

Lets not fill the drift lounge up with pointless threads that are just going to get locked.

Even when not drifting there is a real problem with this game and steering. Especially while driving the faster cars. On the exits of alot of corners on most tracks, it’s like the steering gets to a point then just won’t turn anymore, it’s not under steering, it’s simply just not turning enough. Still love the game but this steering problem makes me only drive A and some S class cars. It’s just to frustrating not being able to exit a corner in a F1 car at 60 but can exit the same corner at 60 in a 1970s muscle car.

Its not steering because if your using anything but simulation steering the game is assisting you every time you turn the wheel.

I find simulation steering nearly impossible to use on a controller and drifting.

BUT that being said, normal steering setting + updated controller + 2 degrees or more of positive front toe out seem to keep my in check.
