Fastest 2013 Mazda MX-5 on Road America West no assist using manual w/o clutch!

The tune is upload now I know someone can post a faster time than I can but I’m just a little excited with my first top 100 time. I built the car for running in the ABC’S lobby last night and was just doing some tweaking on a few other tracks. When I went for a shakedown run on RA West I crushed my previous lap and wanted to post it in the rivals to update my time. I ended up 104th right behind gtFootw witch in all the rival events I have never ever gotten close to his times. So I got online today and attempted to better my time and after 12 laps of starring at his bumper I did it! I know the car can still use a little more tweaking on a few corners but I built it as a lobby car and stumbled upon this track’s lap time.
I will post the build and settings up here in a bit when I get them all written down and hopefully get a little advise and feedback.

Big thanks to everyone here in the tuning forum for all the help and advise! Seeing your open source tunes and understanding what, why and how you build and tune helped me get to where I am! Thanks everyone and I will post the build and tune soon!

It took about 15 laps but I just nipped you. 1:23.884, #82, tune is very good, I just keep having problems with the crossover section and judging where to turn in as you head back up the hill toward the Corvette bridge.

Congrats on the time. I know exactly how you feel. I had a better driver set a really good time in one of my tunes not that long ago and it made me feel almost as good as if I set the time myself. Seeing only two numbers come up for the first time in your ranking is pretty sweet. I’m sure it gets common place to a lot of these guys, but you’ll probably always remember that feeling. Enjoy it…

Yeah I’m sure it won’t be too long before I get knocked back down the order myself when more people run the track. Still a great feeling and hopefully someone can post a faster time with the tune. Thanks everyone and would appreciate any feedback.

I was having a little trouble through that section as well. It kept trying to step the back out and slide on me.

Congrats Rabbit0317. Top 100’ are nothing to sneeze at! Its always a gratifying feeling to get one but to do it in your own tune you get a superman feeling lol. Again good job and keep building. Now that you have one you will be addicted to getting more so dont forget to take breaks lol.

I’ve used your set up for multiplayer only atm and I did like it but only with traction control on as the back end come out a bit, that’s my only criticism

I have only had Forza 5 for a week and I have managed to get 1:23.374 which is good for #59 on the leaderboard. The car has an issue though and if sorted out I think I can take another half a second off my time. The issue is that the car has throttle oversteer when coming out of the tight turns. You might be able to solve some of it with the diff but like I said I have only had the game for a week so still trying to work things out. I ran 22 laps and got 3 clean. I run no assists and simulation steering.

Great tune mate. Worked like a charm. I also managed to beat Your time and I think there’s definitely more more in it.
