I have FH4 installed through xbox app on my PC, as i do with FH5, Motorsport and Sea of thieves. With all the other games when i go to manage, i can see the file location of them and it gives me the option to change install folder, however with FH4 it just says “installed in c:” but doesnt say where and gives no options to browse files or relocate. I have tried reinstalling it multiple times as well as the whole xbox app but it wont show up. if anyone knows how to fix this that would be much appreciated thanks.
Just google the question and you’ll find the answer both for Msoft and Steam installs.

so ive found it hidden in a random folder no where near where i asked it to install, but that doesn’t matter. what does is the .exe and all the other files are locked with a little gold padlock saying i have no access. i cant take ownership and i cant change the perms manually so idk what to do with it

I’m an Xbox player so hopefully someone else can help you with this. Sometimes I know you need to ensure you are using administrator rights but I guess you would be.
Windows > Settings > Apps. Locate FH4 and do the 3 dots and Select MOVE. It’ll move most of the files, but there will still be some files on C because of how the store functions. You can’t take control of the store/files. I’m pretty sure that’s by design so they can prove you legit bought the game.
My issue is not with moving the files, it was with finding them within the drive as they aren’t stored in xbox apps, like every other xbox game, and where they are trold to install to. and your saying theres no way for me to get permissions over the gold locked files?
If there’s no option to move the install, then idk. When you install, there should be an option to select the destination.
ok no, so through windows, i can change install location, but just drive, not specific folders. through xbox, i can only uninstall and reinstall, but it doesnt give me any options like with other games (images)
it isnt in the same folder as them and i had to go digging to find it, and when i did its all strewn about and messy as. i have reinstalled multiple times, changed file location on the install, tried to make install location its own private folder, it doesnt work. and now i cant access it to modify it or load it into a reshade.
