FH5 THE ELIMINATOR - KOO Mode Activated - Kicking Opponent Outside Of the Arena

of course, play what makes you happy. i was just asking if he had ever won an eliminator, thats all.

Well I have entered eliminator events purely to do the seasonal playlist challenges if I need the 2 points or whatever you get to unlock a reward car, but I don’t bother playing just find somwhere to hide until I get the required 30 players left then just wait to get challenged then wait until I am beat and out the game.

iirc the intro video for eliminator in fh4 shows a car hiding in one of the high drainpipes at mudkickers,so they obviously think its a legit tactic

Very true! It Also shows Ramming, rubbing, wrekfest, slide job, block… Among the dirty tactics only the KOO mode is not illustrated. Probably it was not invented at this moment.

Quite a stretch to the say the hitting in the FH4 intro video is from people who are not involved in a given H2H race. In once case, it is clearly two cars that are racing each other and not a 3rd party trying to affect the outcome of the H2H.

ALL in two instances only, aside from HtH (more on that after). 1 - Racing TO a car drop. 2 - Racing TO the final elimination. And yes, in those two cases all bets are off, to the victor goes the spoils. The key there being racing TO those goals, which ā€œyourā€ claim to fame KOO is not.

In the HtH yep, there is some contact, also fine, because it is BETWEEN THE TWO RACERS. Note that what it does NOT show is players not involved in the HtH getting mixed up in it.

Or maybe it wasn’t shown because it shouldn’t be done. Don’t take absence of the example as evidence of approval. Speaking of… have you heard back from the ptb yet ? Same rule applies there. Lack of a response does not mean approval.

I’m afraid that we will never agree on this subject.
In my opinion, the Eliminator is a pure battle royale mode base on an arcade game. It’s not a racing simulation. Cars can fall from 50 meters and continue their way and you can go through jungle or river with saloon cars. There is a little difference with racing simulation. In a battle royale the aim is to be the last survivor, the guy who eliminate all other drivers (they even do not say racers). One again, i believe that the rules are there ain’t no rules as long as your tactics is possible in the regular game.

I mentionned the Eliminator trailer as some people explain the KOO is like ramming, a scandal or a absolute horror. It’s true on online racing, I do not have the same view for the Eliminator

I believe that real E-racer do not play to the eliminator with the same logic they have in E-racing. It’ arcade, it’s Fun, it’s WTF. (They did not create a DLC Eliminator for Forza Motorsport by the way and the eliminator mode was not created to celebrate the Memory of Fangio or Senna.)

The rules, code of conduct, Fair-play, Flamekeeper….For me it sounds like Ā« The rules of WBA should apply to a street fight.

This story remind me an other Story: British captive officer challenged french Navy officer Surcouf with the words ā€œYou French fight for money while we fight for honourā€, Surcouf replied ā€œEach of us fights for what he lacks mostā€.

I respect people who think i’m wrong because they thing that every H2H should be fair and this is their code of conduct. Next Time I will hit a tree, I Hope they will wait for me.

I sent the video to the Forza support, I will see if they ban me, if they shift to shadow mode before the final showdown or if they don’t care.
Lack of response does not mean approval neither disapproval I guess

This is just going around in circles, since the OP is never going to agree with anyone his blinkered mind is made up that he is right and those that disagree are wrong, I don’t really know why he bothered making the thread other than to promote his YouTube videos, he considers his way of playing is legit so that’s the end of it really, I don’t for one second believe he has asked support to see what they think let alone sent then m a video, I fully expect him to come back with a fake ā€œguess what guys they have said its ok to play this way.ā€.

To continue to go around in circles, I just want to share a recent game experience. I was playing the Seasonal Playground game. I got a flag and I was driving to the end zone to score. Suddenly, a Guy come from nowhere and ram me intentionnaly. I loose the Flag and did not score. Shame on those rammers that ruin my game experience. They should be banned as it’s unsportsmanlike conduct.

Difference is in capture the flag you have to make contact with another player that’s part of the game mechanism, eliminator is different no contact between players is required for the game mechanics to work, nice try, or as they say close but no cigar. Lol

No contact beetwen players is required for the game mechanics to work, you mean like in soccer or in rugby?
Common guys it’s a Battle Royale!. Be Fair, play hard.

imagine expect a fair fight in battle royal game lol. you can do whatever you want to eliminate other players as long as it not cheat or exploit. that’s how battle royal work in other game. and i will continue to ram others in eliminator unless PGG says it’s a unsportsmanlike.

Thanks God! That is exactly the point.

You are comparing apples with oranges. The point of the playground is to prevent everyone on the other team from scoring. That by definition involves hitting people. In the Eliminator, you do not need to make contact with other people whom you are not actively racing in order to win.

I doubt there are many people who recognize another players gamertag in Eliminator. I know that I am only away of gamertags at the start and end of H2Hs that I’m involved in.

Last night I saw my first case of attempted KOO. The victim was able to get back in (barely) and I laughed as I left the instigator in the dust when the barrier dropped. I finished 2nd, the instigator was way back in my mirror trying to get going.

This is the thing now they have made people aware of their dodgy tactics, and not everybody is going to sit there and do nothing like they do in their fake setup videos. lol

I stand by what I said, ramming is not required in eliminator its not part of the game mechanic, meaning it is not required for the game to be played, but of course I don’t expect children to understand that so carry on as you are, but don’t expect me to participate. Lol

Oh and learn how to use quote properly its not that difficult.

I don’t know why but when I saw that the quotes did not work properly i was sure that you are going to make this comment and to ask PGG to ban me for unappropriate quote conduct.
