Yes, the game stores times done in races to rivals, provided that they are in the same conditions as the rivals event. Your S2 time is therefore saved as a “dirty” time and that’s what I’m referring to.
It looks a decent run but I think it’s AWD which means it won’t get close on that type of high speed course to the RWD powerbuild Mosler, which is the fastest S2 car in the game. The unbeatable AI on HW Goliath is ultra-difficult in my view so, if you did find it easy, it must be something related to the specific build.
Yes, which is why I always say that the game is easy, and other people say it is hard. But Goliath main map is Unbeatable with most builds apart from some builds which break the Ai.
I completely agree. Everyone plays the game differently. Some people hate drift events, some people hate online multiplayer, others hate the weather aspect. Unfortunately PG is making you play the game the way they want you to play it.
Back when they adjusted the amount of points needed for the Festival Playlist, but at the same time removing available events, I said that was the wrong way to go about things, because you’re still forcing people to play parts of the game that they don’t like if they want to earn all the reward cars. Had they lowered the needed points (to lets say what they are now) but kept all the events each week (Trial, PG Games, 3x PR Stunts, 3x Seasonal Championship, etc) people could choose what they wanted to do while sometimes avoiding parts of the game they don’t enjoy. Having the HW events in the playlist helps those that have the expansion, but it’s still not the perfect solution.
Throughout most of history you have never been able to choose your own rules for a game. Try playing chess, and saying you want to play to your own rules… not many people will join in.
Games that aren’t being played by robots frequently vary from a standard ruleset. Such as poker, solitaire, or any number of RPGs. I actually wouldn’t be surprised if even chess has developed a few variants as well.
But you can’t play them the way you want to play them though. I could invent a new way to play Poker right now, but I wouldn’t be able to play it with anyone.
Sure you would. At most you might have to explain the new rules to someone, but people do it on a minor level all the time with Poker in particular, assigning new rules/values arbitrarily to various cards. Not that playing with other people is a necessity.
I had a lot of control issues in the S1 long circuit both on the loop and the magnetic track. Any one else having this? I’m getting ready to start S2 and can’t imagine how bad it will be with more power!
If you haven’t done so, switch off the HW driving assists in settings. I would start oscillating through the loops because the game was trying to keep me away from the sides of the track, but that was having adverse consequences. Since I switched the setting off, I’ve had no further control problems.
In this case one of the promotional points PG make of FH is play how you want, if they don’t want players playing as they want don’t promote players being able to play as they want, otherwise it makes PG look stupid, and if players want to be “lazy” as you put it, that’s their choice as they are the ones paying to play the game, their money their choice.
