I have now for some years been thinking about a challenge. A challenge I already thought of in FH3, but now that FH5 is the latest, I intend to try on this challenge, which is to complete all singleplayer races without buying a single car.
Rules are simple:
Delete FH5 save game file, and start fresh
Use what ever Forza Horizon 5 edition you have.
All cars you start with are allowed (carpass, ultimate edition)
Do not buy any car. Any cars from carpass or so is not buying cars, i know it is a grey zone, but don’t use credit to buy cars.
Upgrading and tuning cars are allowed.
Complete and win all singleplayer races (Trail blazer is optional)
Maybe I’m not the first to try it, but I’ve never heard of anyone trying. That’s why I want to try.
I played FH4 that way
Not because I wanted to challenge myself or anything, I just got all the cars I needed to complete the single player portion from wheelspins.
It sounded hard when I first saw it, but then I realized just how many cars we get from wheelspins and accolades. The hardest part would be to complete all of the many races.
I did this three months ago, Can’t go through all that pain again.
Saying that though; I went back to FH3 on my new (this Account) as lost my old login details on my old Xbox One (years ago now) so I could 100% the achievements again on this account, took me 2/3 weeks to complete it all.
i have done this from the start. got a lot of good drops back in november like the one:1. i’ll probably start playing the game a lot more once the AI is more realistic for those of us who race stock.
Upon further reflection, I have decided to stop my challenge, as it is not a challenge to start with, as the game throw cars at you all the time, so the chance that you can not complete the game without buying cars , is so vanishingly small that it seems ridiculous.
I apologize for wasting your time, but when I devised the challenge, it seemed like a good idea, but after I got started all over again, I discovered how comical the challenge really was.
Not gonna delete the save file but the challenge is quite easy. I have 460 unique cars in the collection, I bought 8 or 9 of them, when I needed them for specific Playlist things or accolades. The rest is all wheelspins and rewards.
I like the idea, but yeah, it’s too bloody easy due of the exceedingly high amount of given cars, the better challenge would bewith ONLY the car you chose after the Introduction.
