FH5 Burnout

Is anybody else experiencing burnout from this game??

I always open FH5 so excited to play. I love tuning cars, doing the weekly challenges and playing online events, but I constantly find myself having my time ruined by the insane amount of glitches this game has. On launch my best friend and I both pre-ordered the ultimate edition and since day 1 I’ve never been able to play the game with him because it just wont even launch on his PC no matter what.

This was unfortunately just the beginning. I love open world collectathons and I’ve been trying my best to enjoy that aspect of FH5 but with everything I do, I find I’m always trying to circumnavigate some challenge-breaking, time-ruining glitch. I’m beginning to get so tired of empty promises from devs claiming they’re fixing issues, only to find it’s all still broken. I had to stop using other peoples’ liveries because they would crash my game. Even with this brand new season Rivals is still broken and I can’t even do certain season challenges. It’s really starting to burn me out. I want to enjoy this game, but I feel almost embarrassed sometimes that this is the racing game that I love.

That’s not burn out. That’s just you being sick and tired of playing a buggy game on PC which is fair.

What are your computer specs? The game runs pretty well for me. I might get a crash once every couple of weeks. I’m running Windows 11, i5 10 core CPU, RTX 3070 GPU, 32GB memory, SSD.

What I’m finding and I’ve been playing since day one is the gameplay is now pretty boring. The game looks great, the cars drive great but the Horizon 5 map is pretty boring.

It took you a year? Took me 1 day lol

Yeah that’s the result of either non-ideal hardware or as most then tend to default to, a flawed game. (not typical burnout).

Try being on a next gen console with no crashes and still being unhappy. POG.

Ohhh snap lol

I was expecting something about adding exploding cars and exciting wrecks to the game.

RTX 3080 Ryzen 7 5800x and 32GB of 3200MHz ram. I don’t get crashes and the overall in game performance is good; just lots of annoying glitches.

The game runs on my PC fine… it gets hot though, and costs £10 extra electric a week to play it.
