Back in FH3 I could hop into a D class car and hit a few spots while doing around 50 mph circles to run up streaks into the millions without a skill song playing.
In FH4 I’ve only hit a high score over a million once.
It makes no sense since this game has more ways to spend skill points, yet it seems like pulling off long streaks takes a miracle.
Keep trying…it is easy especially on the beach near the castle amongst the sand dunes or near the windmills as well
But its also pointless doing skill chains over 500k…just like in fh3 it was pointless to do more than 300k
Maximum skill points you can get in 1 chain is 10 which is for 500k
Ive had a few skill scores over 2 million just for fun but also helps with a skill song
And pick a car and build up the skills early and the skills chains build quicker too
10 skill point is maxium anyway that you can get in one skill chain, so you dont get any benefit to doing over million skill chains.
It’s easy to get 500k in any of the skills areas, that’s the most perk points you can bank. Pick the right car with a multiplier boost x2,x3 and other perks enabled. There is a little more too it than driving in a circle for 10 mins as you have to chain different skills but still easy enough one you get the hang of it.
Ya seems fairly easy.
I just get an AWD car and spin around like a moron getting chains together, constant drift into another drift, As it was already said here the beach is a good area, slide around hit the yellow drag fence.
Tho careful I have no idea what happened but I slid thru one of the wooden fences on the beach and it lost me my entire skill streak.
also helps to have a car that can unlock that X6 multiplier for me, But that is just the way I do things.
Pulling off long skill chains is a waste of time and effort because you cannot earn more than 10 skill points no matter how great the chain is. I use the FE version of the Renault 5 turbo fully mastered so each skill bumps the multiplier by .3 and goes up to 7. I specifically stop my chains at 72,000 points because that translates to 504,000 points which equals 10 skill points (50,000) per point. Anything more is thrown out and not counted. I also thought long chains was the way to go getting well over a million points only to check the skill total after each chain and seeing that 10 is the most you can earn for any one chain.
Save yourself hassle and grief, when farming use the 5 turbo fe mastered and break the chain at 72,000 points. It takes no more than 5 minutes on the sand dunes and you’ll be clocking skills crazy fast.
In any season other than winter, try the clearing in front of the forest lodge (woodsman’s lodge? The house in the forest near the clearing, there’s only 1). With the Renault, just about 60 seconds to reach 72K, and less risk of flipping over and more frequent destruction skills than the dunes.
There are also the “road open” orange things at the airport, which earn 1K each. I think good drifters can max out in closer to 45 seconds there, but I cannot.
THIS
The Airport is where it’s at for farming
Drift and continue to periodically hit small trees for landscaping or any other item for wrecking in the Renault with all perks and you can stock a ton if you just goof around for an hour at the airport then back to ‘regular’ gaming. Especially if your skill song comes up. Sometimes you can get 500k x 3 in just one song by just stopping immediately at each cap. There’s not a lot to get airtime consistently without breaking a chain there though, but there’s a lot more to hit to keep the chain going then at the beach. If your drift dies out accidentally to a stop in the middle of nowhere, just break out a quick j turn and drift some more. You get wreckage bonuses just for hitting a random cone at the airport, it’s super easy. Just avoid those orange/white rubber curbs on the north runway like the plague.
You can farm like you’re Monsanto out there.
Gotta pick the right spot for the car you are driviing.
I love open fields along the farm country for skills boosting myself. The P3 is pretty decent at skills building, has plenty of drift ability, smashes walls and fences fairly well. With rally tires it can handle any surface in the game without trouble, a little loose on tarmac, but that just adds to the drifting scores. Now I don’t go out for million point scores, but if I need to complete a skills challenge it’s not hard at all.
And as noted, the beach is a great spot as well. Lotta jumps, drifting and wreckage to be found.
I use a Hoonigan Focus RX with maxed out skill tree, x7 multiplier and lots of skill boosts… You can rack up a 72k skill chain in no time at all. My highest is over 1m just for giggles but there really is no point
My highest is over 5 million. But then I realised there’s no point in getting over 500k at a time.
No, they just made it impossible to do so by merely doing donuts for an hour. My highest drifting run got me around 12 million.
i do skills for xp not for skill points so I stop around 100k x7 so around 700k using the bmw skill fe car
Just drift. Drifting is very easy in this game and problably fastest way to get points
As an aside, I have been letting Timeless FM run in the background at 2 volume, a few of the songs, being classical are very long. One skill song lasted 7 minutes! Maxed out skill points 5 times with a 10X multiplier on ONE song
