Hi i have a problem with my Forza Horizon 4 Pc. I get an error code that says i don’t have the minimum grapichs card. But i have 2 Grapichs cards both are GTX 580 and i have intel core i7-3930k and i have 16,0 GB of ram. I come to the tutorial loading screen and then it crashes is it that i have a GTX 580 instead of having a GTX 670TI grapichs card
I bought the Ultimate Adds-Ons Bundle and my game can’t open now. I first installed it normally to the same HDD my game is on, and it didnt work. When I click to open the game it just stays on the logo screen and closes after a minute. I have tried everything, every tip/video I saw on Google to try and fix it and it still doesn’t work. I have also reinstalled the DLC’s alone, didn’t work. Then I reinstalled the entire game and installed the DLC’s after installing the game. Game doesn’t open still. Help.
Note: game worked all fine all until I installed the DLC’s, I haven’t updated neither Windows or Graphic Card drivers after installing them.
The program ForzaHorizon4.exe version 0.0.0.0 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Security and Maintenance control panel.

Hi, bought fh4 on christmas sale and dowload it and now it wont start. I Have tried everything what forums tell but nothing, i dont have clue enymore.
And can i even refund it because the sale?
I submitted a support ticket with all the info I could, when the game crashes it creates an entry in Event Viewer that states something like: “The program ForzaHorizon4.exe version 0.0.0.0 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Security and Maintenance control panel.” Support ticket was replied to essentially stating it is a drive issue and to defrag/try another drive (which I did, still doesn’t launch), and if that failed to contact Microsoft because it’s a Windows issue.
More and more it’s becoming clear that something to do with the ultimate add ons bundle is breaking the game. It’s happening to me and I’ve found a bunch of threads complaining about the same issue with a quick search on reddit:
I can’t offer you any help, but hopefully this gives the devs some insight into what is going on, it’s been maddening trying to fix this myself so I can only imagine how much worse they have it. If possible see if you have an event viewer log to post as well?
Hello,
I’ve bought a copy of Forza Horizon 4 yesterday. And I’m having troubble with launching the game. After opening I’m seeing only a picture of McLaren Senna for ~ 1 second and then the game crashes. I read a lot of disscusions and articles about this problem. I did all what was said in theese articles (Windows and drivers update, reset game, MSI Afterburner is not running, microphone is off, clovk is set on right time, etc.). I’ve already sumbitted a ticket to Forza Support, but if you have some tips, I’ll be glad.
My setup is:
Windows 10 Pro (x64, newest version),
Intel i3-8130U CPU,
Intel UHD Graphics 620,
8GB DDR4
Hello,
I’m not sure, but I’m wondering if you need more memory. I just read the Intel UHD Graphics 620 shares memory with the RAM. Perhaps wait and see what Forza Support say before splashing out on more though.
There was this post about minimum specs a while ago. You may already have seen it:
I have i7 8700k 4.8GHz , 16gb DDR4 3200mhz , GTX 1060, GTX 770 - I am more than capable to run it.
I used to play FH4 all the time. But had to delete it to make room on one of SSDs for a different game. I recently reinstalled it and now the game wont even launch. I have tried reinstalling 3 times now. Have got windows up to date to the latest update. My GPU Drivers are up to date. I have turned my firewall off. Tried resetting PC .
Any suggestions to how I can get this game to actually open?
Found this thread on Microsoft Answers today. Looks like a bunch of people have been reporting the issue and apparently those that have been in touch with MS support say that they are aware and are working on a fix.
Seems like it’s a licencing issue, something about the ultimate edition doesn’t get on well with the MS store. Someone else also posted a reported fix for their copy today (the 27th) on the last page as well. I personally wouldn’t recommend following the steps because they are quite drastic and carry the potential of borking your MS Store and built in apps. Involves taking control of the WindowsApps folder, manually deleting anything to do with the game, and doing the same for the registry too.
If anyone does go through with that drastic solution, report back with results and hopefully it’ll shed some light on the issue for both us and the devs/MS!
Sounds like those of us who didn’t get the ultimate edition dodged a bullet then.
Reading that thread I am struck by the typically pathetic response of the Microsoft ‘experts’ who seem to be working from a script and work on the assumption that the problem must be with your computer rather than there being any flaw with the notoriously flaky Microsoft Store.
No wonder, especially now they’re starting to put new MS games on Steam. The dismissal of the issue is exactly why I started collecting every thread with the same issue I could find, I even mentioned in my Forza support ticket that the game worked perfectly fine UNTIL I picked up the ultimate add-ons in the Cyber Monday sale.
I would appreciate some more communication on the issue, either from MS or the devs, I can’t believe I had to go digging to find that thread to even know that they were aware of the issue and looking into it. I understand they probably see this issue a lot but surely they should have started to look into things when multiple reports of the same issue with the add-ons started coming in.
I understand it’s a bad time of year and we probably won’t see a fix until 2020, but even an quick official announcement acknowledging the issue would go a long way.
Here’s my collection of threads reporting the exact same issue for what it’s worth:
The most common fix I saw was turning off any overlay software if you have it, particularly GPU monitoring/tweaking software like Logitech G Hub, MSI Afterburner / Riva Tuner Statistics Server or
EVGA Precision. there’s a full list of software known to interfere with the game in that article too
More confirmations from the MS Answers thread that deleting the registry keys and reinstalling works on page 6: Redirecting
Seems that it did break a thing or two and they might’ve had to do a repair install or something along those lines (EDIT: They clarified, it was just a Startup Repair. Also they re-downloaded the add-ons and they work). Something I’d like to point out that’s mentioned in that thread is this playing hot potato with the issue; MS saying it’s a Forza issue and vice-versa. We have clear evidence now that it’s the MS store that’s causing this by doing something to the registry keys.
Once again I am incredibly disappointed at the lack of acknowledgement by either party that this is an issue (and more to the point IF there will be a fix from either). I know it’s the holiday season and all but come on.
