Hi all.
I was updating my FM6 & ‘Customisation’ threads from Photobucket to Flickr the other day & whilst changing my sig, noticed it was 10 years to the day when I first registered on this forum.
I only paint in bursts now but wanted to start a thread to mark my little milestone & to possibly give me a nudge back into the paint booth again.

I made up my mind to pre order FM7 the other day & decided to bring back some of my designs from FM2, 3 & 4. So between now & next Friday I’ll be busy painting the relevant logos before tackling the portraits & main images in the new game - I’m hoping they look better in FM7’s editor…
Seeing as Forza’s all about painting & hotlapping for me, it’s a complete no-brainer as to what’s coming back first:

Well, if what I’ve been reading since Friday is anything to go by, it looks like I might not be totally switching over just yet. Hotlapping & the Paintbooth have generated quite a negative response so far… I’m reserving judgment as I tentatively launch FM7…

New to FH3, inspired by an old FM4 request. I’d never heard of Ed ‘Big Daddy’ Roth until then & researching him was a real eye opener. This is my attempt at the Ford truck that Ed used to drive around - I read a few comments on the Facebook page wondering how this design was picked as a Weekly winner as “there’s no pinstriping on this car!”… I guess they’d never heard of him either, LoL!
Definitely the hardest design to get right so far due to the incredibly glitchy nature of the vehicle. Had to compromise a bit but still happy with the result (I may revisit the car I painted for SAETTA back in FM4 after this).
New to FH3, inspired by Kirsten Flipkens/Niels Albert ‘Flower Power’ VW Fun Cup design. Shame VW weren’t in this game but will hopefully be able to put it on a Beetle in FM7.
New to FM3, my version of Dragon88.com’s track day McLaren 12C. Decided to bring it over & put it on the 650S as I hadn’t shared it in FM6. They have (or had) 5 cars, each carrying a dragon’s name from folklore (took me a long time to find that out!) and from what I could make out from this video, each associated with a specific colour.
SAPHIRA - green
PALUDA - grey
MUSHO - red
SIMUSH - yellow
LADON - yellow
Thanks mate, took it ages ago when I found some glitches by the beach area… can’t remember the settings now but the original shot looked very different.
