I thought I’d create a thread at the beginning of the game for a change. A self confessed Forza paint addict from FM2, 3 & 4 I got a bit of the old bug back after picking up FM6 & then Horizon 3. I mainly do Fantasy designs but there’ll be the odd Race paint or two including imports from previous titles.
In the absence of a Storefront, I’m still waiting to see what role the AH will play as far as sharing our designs is concerned. In the meantime I’ll share my paints as & when I get the cars for them (currently using my phone/iPad to post & having issues getting the Flickr codes so will be using older pics for imports).

Painted in FM6 but not shared in Horizon 3, I’ve finally got the car which means I can race this design around again
It remember it took me a loooooooong time to work out what the NOZOMI logo was.… glad I didn’t give up though. Tweaked a couple of the decals which didn’t port so well & updated to an FM7 logo on the rear - will take some newer pics when I get time. Enjoy

At first I was a bit peeved at not being able to get all the cars I wanted straight away but after a few weeks of playing I have to say I quite like it. It was good to get the Cayman which I didn’t have in Horizon 3 but the Ferrari track day cars will have to wait until the 458 Italia unlocks. I’ve yet to get the 488 GTB so haven’t bothered porting that over but I noticed they’re running both cars again in the Gulf 12hr this year so I’ll add it next month.
For the time being I’m happy painting new stuff & reviving some personal favourites from Forzas past. Not overly fussed about the figures (downloads/likes etc.) so it’s not that important for me to get everything out there asap. I’m just painting cars as I get them or as I need them for my career.
Nice start on your gallery and your Porsche Cayman is very clean looking.
Yeah it’s to bad T10 left out the storefront. I would have liked to set a reasonable price for my designs. As for the Auction House it should be the same as before… Was there a difference between Horizon and Forza AH?

Personally, I was a bit disappointed with both the SF & AH in Horizon 3. I remember telling MS77 that it felt like being given the keys to a Veyron only to be told it was restricted to 70mph!
I still managed to use the AH for random cars & limited editions which contributed to a CRs giveaway but it wouldn’t be possible to run something like the old Blowouts we used to see.
Thanks man, I painted this one in FH3 but didn’t have the Cayman so didn’t release it. Ported the vinyls over & have to admit, between the lighting & the dodgy left stick/D-pad, I struggled putting it together.
There’s a couple of McLarens I painted in FM6 which didn’t see the light of day either so I’ll share them as & when I can. The Ferraris might be AH this time round.

Cheers Punny! There’s still a lot of people playing Forza from those days, they just don’t post so much on the forums anymore. I’m sure they’re out there though…
I don’t mind the SF going, it was only a means to an end as far as I was concerned. Once I hit the 50k mark & I could charge what I liked in the AH, I lost all interest tbh. In fact I couldn’t even tell you how many Horizon 3 downloads I have or which one of my designs has the most!
