Fh3 bucket list #23 some players cheating ?

I saw the leaderboards for bucket list #23 the one with audi quattro drive to city. The top players in the world have a best time of 12secs. ie they covered a distance of 10 km through rough terrain in 12 secs. How is that possible ? If they are cheating how do they do it ?
I als saw in one of the danger signs in hot wheels that a C class volvo was top of leaderboards while X class centenario or S2/S2 fastest accelerating cars were 100’s of meters behind it on the leaderboards.
Anyone knows how they do that ? any video links ?

I’m on XBox one and because I know there is so much cheating on the PC I’ve turned off cross-platform times. The fastest time on my global leaderboard is 2:10 which I think is possible.

There is some cheating on the XBox as well exploiting glitches. Very frustrating.

Im on XBO as well. this may sound a bit n00by but how do u turn off cross platform timings ?

It’s in the Gameplay options down at the bottom of a long list.

Must turn this off also cheating [Mod Edit - Abbreviated profanity, profanity and profanity that is disguised but still alludes to the words are not permitted - D] spoils the game for us honest gamers dosent it

When the leaderboard is as unreal as in that bucket list, i think turn10/MS should ban such users straightaway. Having said that I would love to see how they achieved it. (any youtube/twitch links welcome)
I know there is a dev mode on pc where you can give insane amount of power, grip , downforce etc to any vehicle. I wonder if people who modify their cars on dev mode also count into the leaderboard scores.
