The framerate drops are so bad. But thankfully it’s not constant and I’ve yet to have it happen during an event, only during freeroam so far. But the servers being offline is a joke.
I have Forza Horizon and I got it games with gold for the Xbox one and I have a season pass the VIP membership and the online says try again later I’m in the same problem the servers won’t connect online it says try to again later I hope they fix it soon
Same problem here!!!
Logged in this morning and servers seem to be working. Got the 1000 Club to download and finally got my Hub CR from message center. Gonna play a bit and see if lag issue is also resolved.
Update: After about 2 hours of play… lag returned during the Mini Showcase event. Just as I was typing the game crashed to home screen.
I was just playing it last night/this morning and it was running good, now the server is down AGAIN and I cant do anything on the game that involves online progress in the slightest.
I have Horizon and Horizon F&F, and neither of them will show any rival info, or upload time and ghost. What gives?
Fast & Furious is an Horizon 2 expansion - it has nothing to do with the original Horizon if that’s what you’re talking about.
Try doing a full system reset. Reports suggest that this is a temporary fix.
I just played it for the first time this morning (on Xbox 360, not backcompat since I don’t have an XBOne) and Xbox Live seemed to work at first, I did a Speed Trap and I saw that I beat some friends so I assume it was working at the time. However, later, I couldn’t do anything online, it said I needed Xbox Live to access some features. I opened up the Guide and tried re-connecting to Xbox Live to no avail. Even after restarting my 360 a couple of times, I can’t seem to get any Xbox Live connection whatsoever on this game. When I’m on the Dashboard, I clearly have Xbox Live access.
It seems the game is messed up for everyone on both consoles. I hope they address this soon or else, why even put a game for free if it’s not gonna work, come on Xbox team, well, I guess it’s not totally their fault since some said it was working for them just before it was free, regardless, this better get fixed soon.
I’ve been trying to play online all week and the servers have never been active. What was the point of bringing FH1 to the X1 if the servers are never going to work?
If they can’t get Horizon 1 to work I don’t hold much hope for Horizon 3.
I’ve owned Horizon (digitally) on the 360 and still prefer to play it on the 360, but have not been able to get in a multiplayer race for the last 3 or 4 days. I don’t want to load it up on the Xbox One just yet or ever, who knows.
But I’d like to be able to play the game I paid for …
Not really digging how Turn10 or Playground seem to be mute on any issues with any of the games or rewards systems, etc.
As much as I’m looking forward to H3, I have considered cancelling my Ultimate preorder… I know Turn10/Playground could give a hoot, as there are endless posts throughout these forums about issues and not 1 word from them.
Sry, but bluff… failed.
Turn10 (feat. playground) would never let happen “server errors” at the release of fh3. Even they cant fix the connections to the fh1 servers, you would buy the next one.
Atm servers or being reachable, could I play horizon rally, join a club and earned some medals in solo mode 1000 clubs.
I was playing just before and it looks like leaderboards and clubs and are working again, Thanks!
I was able to purchase all DLC (Rally, car packs, etc) and install, but cannot access any of the new cars in game. Any idea where I can access the car packs? Maybe I’m looking in the wrong spot?
Same - I purchased outside the game and tonight (when I could access the servers), I tried in-game. Half the pack were successful and the other half failed. And yet, I still have no new cars in my garage and when I go to the Marketplace they are full price.
Servers are working…for now.
Edit: and 20 mins later they seem to be down again…
Servers were working this morning, long enough to download my gift rewards. They went down almost immediately afterwards when I went to the leaderboards
Damn I’ve never been online when the servers are not off.
Another thing I’ve noticed is that the lag/frame rate issue persists even after loading different games and then coming back to Horizon. I hardly think it’s normal to have to hard reset a console in order to play a game properly.
Here’s what I don’t get. Servers for multiplayer seem to work most of the time but the ones that handle ingame messages and DLC don’t. What gives?
Quite the opposite for me! Haven’t been able to play online since it was BC and my in game messages disappear intermittently, leaderboards are down most of the time but the 1000 club works.
