Toyota GR Supra variants 2020-current Can you add transmission polls for the GR Supra too it was one of the most controversial cars in the world because it was automatic only but ever since 2022 they made it what a Supra should be and gave it a manual on the inline six which is the second engine option
Considering its a just a modern 90s style facelift it doesnt need its own topic its clearly just a reintroduction of the MG B V8
Itās only one model so no
There are 2 models the 2.0 and 3.0 thats all so its 50/50 one is automatic only the other is automatic and manual I dont want to see another automatic I am worried that without the transmission polls the devs will add another automatic which is TERRIBLE other than that those are the only models currently in my mind where I want to see a manual transmission on a nice car like this
why not put in a single vote and just put a model vote in the thread like it was with european models? if you split, will create confusion among latin american users, specially since is the same car, just with a different updated outside stiling, the motor is praticaly the same, just changed the front basically
Fiorino (that used both generations of Uno) is indeed classificated as another car
Main reason I donāt want to just split it between Global and Latin America is mainly because of the extra variants that the Latin American version got over the extra 2 decades of production.
Adding the extra versions to the existing topic would just make it a bit of a mess to look at.
If I was able to do the topics from the start I would combine them and just have more polls in each section but I canāt:
If I were to modify the old topic then weād have:
- Market Poll - Global vs Latin America
- Global Body Poll 1 - 3dr Hatchback vs 5dr Hatchback vs Van
- Latin America Body Poll 2 - Hatchback vs Van vs Sedan vs Wagon
- Global Version Poll 1 - Pre-Facelift (1983-1989) vs Facelift (1990-1995)
- Latin America Version Poll 2 - Pre-Facelift (1995-2003) vs Facelift (2004-2013)
- Global Model Poll 1 - Turbo i.e vs Standard vs Diesel
- Latin America Model Poll 2 - Mille vs Turbo vs Smart vs Way vs Economy vs Grazie Mille
- Engine Poll - 1.0L vs 1.3L vs 1.4L vs 1.5L vs 1.6L
It would just make it a mess overall, I could likely cut some of the options down like the Mille Smart, Economy, Way and Grazie but even then weād still have the extra version and body polls.
Itās not a perfect solution by far but itās the easiest to read in terms of data collection which is mainly what these are for.
Iāve added Latin America, Brazil and Argentina to the new topic to make it easier to search so hopefully that helps a bit with the later models.
For the Latin American models produced before 1995 they can stay in the original topic
This car is worth adding transmission polls as its a sports car and a car for purists @KillerSpectre21 While the 4 cylinder doesnt have a manual option the 6 cylinder does and thats the other half of engine options so please do it like with the G29 as for the CR4 there is no manual version right now but who knows maybe they are working on modifying a M40i Edition Pure Impulse the GR Supra with a manual also has performance differences
I noticed a photo of the Lynx Eventer was posted in the Jaguar XJS 1975-1996 - #6 by garchompie thread and wondered if it would make sense to make a separate topic for this car as Lynx is a separate manufacturer even though the car is Jaguar XJ-S based?
The same point can also be made about the Railton F29 Claremont and F28 Fairmile which too were mentioned by contributors on the same thread.
The Trims (example Z4 M Roadster) are missing
May I suggest you remove/delete the following entry? Rolls-Royce Silent Shadow 2024+
The details mentioned on that page and Wikipedia article are simply speculation, no car with that name exists or was ever built, things mentioned in the related articles (such as an alleged confirmation that Rolls-Royceās first electric car will be named āSilent Shadowā) have long since been proven entirely incorrect as the brand has launched its first electric car quite a while ago now under the name āSpectreā.
Yes Iāll make separate topics for aftermarket versions shortly.
Iām not sure if Iāll make a single Jaguar XJ aftermarket versions topic or separate them into their own yet.
I think Iāll do an overall aftermarket version one since a lot of those are smaller brands.
Done: Jaguar XJS aftermarket variants 1975-1996
We already have a dedicated Lister Le Mans topic so I just included any pre-Le Mans spec Lister models in there too.
It might be worth adding the recently created TWR Supercat topic to those variants as well as it too is XJ-S based.
Itās already got its own Topic too
Since itās more of a restomod Iād keep it there anyways.
I added a few posts of some cars which were mainly identical to the already existing entries but marketed under different brands, maybe have a look if you agree that those should be included in these topics (not sure if they deserve mentioning in the header) or otherwise feel free to split those into different topics if you feel theyāre significantly different enough:
Austin Allegro 1973-1982 - #4 by AX201SD1 to include the Innocenti Regent
Rover SD1 1976-1986 - #9 by AX201SD1 to include Indian Standard 2000
Rover 800 1986-1998 - #4 by AX201SD1 to include US market Sterling 827
Honda Integra 1985-1989 - #4 by AX201SD1 to include the Australian Rover 416i
Land Rover Discovery 1989-2004 (Series I & II) - #4 by AX201SD1 to include Japanese market Honda Crossroad
I would recommend split Fiorino and Uno, not much people want Fiorino, they want the defaut Uno
Also Fiorino had like 3/4 generations and also there has pickup version that could be added to vote with the Fiorino. i will need to rechearch futher
That said i would put put Uno polls like this:
1- Time (people can vote in all 3)
1984-1994
1994-2004
2004-2013
2- Versions (people can vote in all 4)
Turbo
Fire
Way (Way and Fire were most advaned versions of latin america, economy was simplier version of those)
Grazie Mille (last edition)
3- doors (vote in only one)
3 doors (2 doors+Trunk/Boot)
5 doors (4 doors+ Trunk/boot)
4-Fuell (vote in only one)
Gasoline/Flex
Diesel
Motors i would ask for the devs if is possible to put all versions of motors in the engine change options of the game, as a way to tribute all motors, it also woudl make the vote easier beacuse uni had too much motor options, ranging to 1.0 to 2.0 in some rare cases
If you need more help with latin america cars, i will sure to help you since i am Brazilian and i can help you to get the info you need
Yes that would be ideal for the polls but unfortunately I canāt change them for the old topic, itās not a feature we can do without starting it all completely new.
In the future maybe Iāll be allowed to change it and make them both one topic but unfortunately not now for Forza Horizon atleast, I can look into doing it for Forza Motorsport though.
And yes Iāll make a Fiorino topic too, I saw two Uno generations listed when I had a quick look at it with another new Fiorino just being a van.
Thank you for the offer and Iāll definitely reach out.
Could you also check the Puma GTB topic for me please as well? I think Iāve got it mostly correct but maybe something is wrong since information is hard to find.
can you at least mention that the most voted topic is for Uno first gen in general, not just the european sales of first gen? otherwise it may confuse the latin americans a lot
Also yes, do this vote for Motorsport too, people that like to race uno in the track surely would love it in Motorsport
Uno (the car) had a second gen in latin america that was from 2010 to 2021, from 2010 to new Brazilian car regulations in 2014, the both gens co-existed with the first gen renamed to Fiat Mille, it became common to other cars as of other brands as well but most were chevy cars
about Fiorino, the badge actually existed long before Uno, originally it came from the Fiat 147 until 1988 when became based from Uno, the second gen Uno stopped being made in 2021, they changed to take the Fiorino brand from Uno to Peugeot, as a rebadged Uno is sold as Peugeot Partner Rapid, but as far i know, it is still use second gen Uno body
had you checked the Portugese wikipedia? here is a translated to english version
Please, please give this transmission polls the GR Supra was so hated when it came out but ever since it got a manual option it became a great sportscar the 3.0 is the top trim which still has an automatic as an option but now also a manual option the manual is a few hundred milliseconds slower but way more fun I really donāt want to see another Automatic on a car like this either they should remodel the car and which is the 1st option or add they should add the manual one alongside the automatic
Can we update topic to include CUPRA Born VZ?
Can we update topic to include facelift model?
KS: Done
