Could you please explain what is needed to get an Accuforce to work with Forza 7? Is Emuwheel all is needed? Is there a specific set-up procedure?
A friend of mine has an Accuforce, and I’m talking him into trying Forza 7, because AFAIK it’s the only racing game that supports cross play between PC and Xbox.
Last time he tried the demo, his wheel wouldn’t work (no FFB), but that was before Emuwheel got updated with support for Forza 7.
I’m not sure if Emuwheel would give FFB for an Accuforce wheel, not saying it won’t, I just don’t know.
I have a friend who has an Accuforce wheel and he is using GIMX and gets FFB in Forza 7 with it. GIMX is not free though, you have to buy a small piece of hardware for it to work.
Could you upload your emuwheel setup/config please? I would like to test it on G25. The worst thing in FM7 is definitly the “dead” feeling when we are not in a curve. I use G25 on PS3/PC, and the best FFB is in AC, GT6 and Dirt series (actually the best in Dirt 4). You have sort of feeling how suspenssion tranfers car weight in corners, and how car will act in split second. I know it might be not the most realistic thing, but for many players it is necessary to feel the car constantly.
sure but i have changed the “phase” value, which is different for each, wheel.
If you have not the right value the wheel can be not centered turn more on one side.
FFB is very very good, and dead center feeling is minimal.
From my point of view, FFB is now very close to Assetto, better than PC 2, and graphics are the best ever made.
Just major issue with spectator holding flags…
if i have time i will upload in game settings and emuwheel settings, but i said it, i’m sure at 99.99% you will have to change the “phaase” value, and it’s hard if you odn’t know how it works
Honestly I have no clue how the “phaase” value works. So if you would have some free time to post settings and maybe little explanation that would be fantastic for many players. Cheers.
If you just took 2 minutes of your time to read the guide for emuwheel, you would discover phase value explained. Here i’m quoting from emuwheel page:
Q: Why is my wheel not balanced (e.g. turns easier to left or right or has a tendency to turn to either left or right on it’s own)?
A: This is caused by incorrect phase value for vibrations. Correct value can be determined by doing the following: make sure vibration is set to 100 in-game, adjust magnitude and other settings to your preference, go on track, stop the car in grass and initiate a turn . Inertia should cause wheel to rotate after you release it. The rotation caused by inertia should be equal when the wheel rotates to left and right. if it is not, adjust phase value (0.00 - 1.00), restart Forza EmuWheel and try again. If the wheel rotates more freely to opposite direction after you adjusted value, it means that the value is changed too much. Choose a value that is between the initial value and the changed value and repeat this procedure until you achieve a perfectly balanced wheel.
A strange thing just happened with Emuwheel; I was trying to change som settings in the configuration, and after saving and starting Forza7 again the wheel was acting very strange. It turns out the changes I did affected som other settings to 0. I tried again and whenever I try to save, the settings in the box my cursor was in would change to 0. Fortunately the default settings was present when starting the configuration, so I could change then back, place my cursor in a box that was already set to 0, and then save. Now I was ready to go again.
I’ve read this entire thread, tried Blue’s Dust’s and Road Puke’s settings.
But still manage to get the same issue.
I just went from a G920 to a CSW v2.5 last week on my Xbox One X thinking this would be a great idea but…
The second I start the race and I’m driving in a straight line with obviously no FFB… I feel the wheel between my hands wanting to rock back and forth… And if I let go with out holding it and tap it or try to steer the slightest bit, it starts rocking like crazy!
Here are my settings
NORMAL steering
Traction, Abs, Friction, and stability off
Manual W clutch
In wheel
DOR……Auto
FFB…….Auto
SHO……010
ABS………067
BREI……000
In game settings

Is this on a PC or on the Xbox Console?
Also I am away from my Xbox but I will post my in game settings for FM7 alone with wheel settings. They will be for the Xbox so a PC may need different settings. A,so keep in mind that these are my preference and your expectations may be different than mine but only one way to find out😃
There is a bug in the fanatec wheels that causes them to amplify the FFB signal from the game when it is used in xbox mode.
FFB scale in game is not a master FFB setting, it only controls the aligning torque and dynamic forces, so you should set this to maximum in game and use you FF setting on your wheel to adjust to your liking, but you need to start with very low values (was recommended by T10 to start at about 20).
Once you find your sweet spot, if it is still oscillating then increase the FFB minimum force setting. The minimum force setting is not like a traditional minimum force but instead scales the torque applied from the tyre, low values will have a stronger effect at center and higher values will make it softer near center.
Try putting the FFB scale to 100, then on the wheel FF to 20-30. You could also try increasing the FFB minimum force which will lower the centering force of the FFB
