Every time (6 times now) I’ve tried to do the Queen’s Drive Speed Zone, the game crashes to desktop as soon as I hit the start flags, and the timer should start. 4 different cars, tried from both sides, same result every time.
I’ve completed this SZ gawd-knows how many times (especially given how often this series has been repeated - I’ve got I-Rocs all over the show!) but this time, not happening. Tsk.
. edit: - ok, so, it’s not just that one, my game crashes when I go through any speed zone, in free roam. Same thing, as soon as I hit the entrance and the timer should start, there’s a very brief pause and then it’s “hello, desktop”…
This is a new one on me, been playing since 2019 and not come across this before? Hmm…
I have done the trial multiple times now prior to this…but for some reason this time I had the worst team mates. I honestly think I got hit more this week than any week before. By my own team mates lol. Oh well…next week if we go by the recycle schedule it will be a class ininity’s. Not much fun…but a change.
Well, flip - thanks for the info. I’ve been lucky so far in that I’ve not really had any major problems with FH4.
Perhaps 3 1/2 years ago I’d have reinstalled something, - probably the game, probably not Windows! - but now, nah… Will dip into the bits that avoid the zones, but with the continued repetition of the same few series now, I’ll thank my lucky stars that I got through most of its life without issue.
I got mine working again. Created a new local profile on PC. Logged into that and signed into the Store. Was able to install from the Store (only a few mb) to the new PC profile and now it doesn’t crash. I’m sure the Xbox app would have worked for reinstall too.
The game copies about 3 gb of game files to the local profile. Next I will try and copy those from the good profile to the bad.
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.SunriseBaseGame_8wekyb3d8bbwe is where the game files per user are.
If anyone plans on selling this I will buy it! I have an Iroc Z IRL, but I wasn’t aware this was the festival playlist vehicle. If I was I would have the car already lol. Anyways definitely looking to buy, I’ve been wanting this car for years.

I am a pretty irregular player, today is the first time I’ve played this week. I was told that it wasn’t possible to be able to get 80% within the 2 days left. As I was typing this response, I found one on the marketplace and bought it for 200k credits. I’ve been checking AH every 10 minutes for 4 hours and I haven’t seen one lol. A little awkward that this happens right after posting asking for someone to sell me one. Thanks for the offer though! Unfortunately the in game car doesn’t offer my stock paint color + livery color combo though. Kinda sad, I think its the best looking version as well.
It’s definitely possible to get to 80% with two days left, though it’ll take you a few hours. Back when I was going for 100% each season I did the whole thing on the last night of the week on multiple occasions.
The IROC is 80% for the series so it’s not attainable without having done enough in the previous seasons. If it were the season prize then it would be possible. The IROC seems to come up occasionally in the forzathon shop.
You might still be able to get the color close to yours with the two tone paint. Using the same color for the highlight and lowlight does a pretty good metallic. I would expect there’s a shared IROC vinyl that you can use to make it look reasonably close too.

In other news - I just completed the speed zone!
Previous restarts (PC) had failed to make any difference, so I employed some industrial-grade swearing (don’t try this at home kids, I am an experienced swearer with years of practise!) - not sure which one it was, but it let me in and out of the SZ and registered the challenge so I’ll take it!
