Winter Season Festival Playlist (FH5 Series 22 - Upgrade Heroes)

Here are the details on this week’s events and rewards. Share tips along with your tuning setup codes, and provide feedback with the polls in post #2.

The 1992 GMC Typhoon is this week’s newest exclusive reward car for 20 Seasonal Points.

WINTER | DRY SEASON

The season starts at 7:30am Pacific on July 6th and ends Tuesday, June 13, 2023 2:30 PM
This is the third season of Upgrade Heroes (Series 22).

PLAYLIST POINTS

Points are accumulated across all four seasons. Each event in the Festival Playlist has a number of points to earn noted in the bottom left corner of the event tile. Accumulate points with any combination of completed events to earn the first reward car, and continue earning points from remaining events to earn the second reward car. Cars noted as Seasonal Exclusive are not available in the Autoshow, so grab them while you can! But don’t worry if you miss them, these cars may come back again for future Festival Playlists.

SEASON EVENT DETAILS

Toggle the menu to show the rewards and restrictions for each event - if you complete the event in a car outside the restrictions or fail to meet the target, you won’t get the reward and points from completion. You must have unlocked the Hall of Fame with Accolade points to enter the Trial. Access to Rally Adventure events require defeating the three team champions. Access to Hot Wheels events requires the Hot Wheels Expansion DLC; users without the DLC will still be able to gold the season and unlock the “Min, Meet Max” Achievement without these event points.

Festival Playlist Tunes July 6th -July 13th (Winter S22)
Happy Thursday Throttle Jockeys! Here is this weeks seasonal tunes fresh out of of the shop for your enjoyment. This week you will find some RWD and FWD tunes thrown into mix. They are all fast and easily controllable for some easy wins!

Seasonal Tuning method

1. I always go for a stock look - wheels, rim sizes and aero are only changed if it is absolutely necessary for handling and stability.
2. Tunes are always tuned to max performance with max handling.
3. All cars tuned vs. Unbeatable AI on championship tracks in seasonal weather. Tunes are then baseline ran in Rivals.
   I again want to thank everyone for the downloads, follows, comments and likes! Remember feedback is important! I like hearing any and all comments on these tunes. There is no “bad” comments. You guys have been awesome with your support.

I realize most of you would rather eat unseasoned broccoli than use a RWD tune. So here is my challenge to you. Go download your preferred AWD tune. I would recommend @CashlessPlains8 tune. Run the trial and then redo it with my RWD tune. This is a handling RWD tune not a power build. That said, it does have impressive power and acceleration to match it amazing handling. This tune currently has a few top 200 leaderboard times so it well tested and proven! I firmly believe the 510 is better in RWD form and it’s a hill I’m ready to die on…lol

Anyone reading who is competent in a RWD tune should give @TonyKartRcr’s tune a go! As far as my rivals LB’s notifications are concerned…its super fast!

Nice enough Trial, both tracks are good for starting as there are no early tight corners for carnage to ensue.

Nice steady run on Wetland but drove Granjas appallingly, should have been into the 2:40’s there.

Tune is Saeenu’s but it’s a little down on power for these 2 courses, was just fortunate that my teammates had either the rental or what has to have been a poor tune because I got away from all of them on launch + acceleration at the start of both races.

It is necessary. I did it in C class first (just what I had it at before). Then I re-read the clue, and threw Tony’s A class drag tune on it.

Also!!! Important!!! There’s a major history of treasure hunts getting messed up by using eventlabs, so I recommend AGAINT using an “easy win” eventlabs to do the drag race. Just pop into solo and you can adjust the difficulty level. Many a week was messed up by the eventlab bug back in the day.

“Solo” as opposed to “multiplayer”. You can change the difficulty just fine in “Horizon Life” or whatever that mode is called.
