Festival Playlist events and rewards Sep. 14-21 (Summer S25)

Though I have to confess I did as @BravoSteelviper suggested previously and used Dont Giva Deuce 's
tune on the Nissan as it was one of usual tuners that I had already. It was another of those that did them all on first run.

Came up with a quick livery for the Nissan. Those lines on the sides are NOT as straight as they look.

1993 240SX SE (black and orange 2 tone): 710 447 795

I broke 13k downloads! Not a whole lot in the grand scheme of things… but every little bit, I guess.

Ah, nice. Don’t like the standard red on the 240 anyways. Might download it later.

I have one of Bravo’s paints on my other horizon open drift 240 build so this will be a nice alternative for my road build.

The 240sx is a fun car imo. I shared my race tune for the stunts. It does 190mph awd with the full cwest kit. Still a bit of a power tune with the stock tires and no forza aero. The stunts were better this week.

Thanks! (that is, assuming you meant me ) Still one of my favorites. (Made a minor update & re-shared it for anyone interested.)

I presumed he meant @BravoSteelviper but that’s a nice livery @Bravo437 on the car… :+1:

Updated my Noble tune for the trial. Started dead last at Arch passed a bunch of cars and then got smashed at the right hander at the end of the straight. Recovered for an easy win. Llanuras I had a great start and never looked back. The Noble is an absolute beast of a car. It’s very easy to overdrive it at Arch. Pretty happy with this tune though and the changes I made it to it.

Bravo….bravo….….sorry, couldn’t resist. @Bravo437 is the one I was talking about. Should have clarified, I guess….haha.

That’s the one! Showed it off a couple of times in horizon open drift lobbies.

You’re lucky….I had a troll account fest my first go in the trial. Haven’t seen that type of player in the trial in awhile. I guess some trial regulars are playing motorfest…

Well said. I spoke to her a few days ago and she’s on the mend but not up for competing at the mo.
Hopefully back to full speed soon.

Festival Playlist tunes Sept 14th - Sept 21st (S25 Summer)
Happy Friday to all my favorite Throttle Jockeys! Here is everything you need to go get through the Summer Seasonal challenges. I have provided a brief description on the tunes below as well as some tips and tricks for the PR Stunts.
Seasonal Tuning method

  1. I always go for a stock look - wheels, rim sizes and aero are only changed if it is absolutely necessary for handling and stability.
  2. Tunes are always tuned to max performance with max handling.
  3. All cars tuned vs. Unbeatable AI on championship tracks in seasonal weather. Tunes are then baseline ran in Rivals.
I again want to thank everyone for the downloads, follows, comments and likes! Remember feedback is important! I like hearing any and all comments on these tunes. There is no “bad” comments. You guys have been awesome with your support.

Boy I sure love single-car PR stunts that require almost 150 more PI than the stock model. They’re the best! /s

On the plus side, I really enjoyed all three of the EventLabs this week. That rally course was great, and the oval track felt straight out of F-Zero. As small as it was, I think my favorite part of the playlist was the treasure hunt. It really feels like a missed opportunity over the lifetime of the game. We have this big beautiful map with all sorts of locales, and having little pop-up obstacle courses or other add-ons like that would do so much to bring it to life. Maybe the devs will play around with that more in the future.

As for the Trial, I went 1/2 in a stock McLaren 720S. Easy wins for the team.

I could probably count all of my modified cars on two hands, so these kinds of PR stunts get really frustrating quickly. Thankfully @TonyKartRCR already had a C600 tune up that got the job done easy and I could put it back to stock.

Yeah, I think @Bravo437 and I both knew who you meant.

Funnily enough, both of the beginnings of our usernames have the same origin (Bravo Company)… just different Bravo Companies. I don’t have much in the way of nicknames around here but I’ve occasionally been glossed BSV. In the past I’ve also gone by Viper or Steel. If I could have had ANY username I wanted, I would have gone with Steelviper. Since that one was taken, I prefixed it with the old unit affiliation.

Bravo’s liveries and vinyl groups are amazing. AND he can also tune. A renaissance man. Most folks are one or the other.

Thanks very much BSV, I appreciate that!

my Nissan 240 tune got all 3 on the first try, should be the first one that comes up

congrats on the downloads, it’s a good feeling. ever since they patched the time skipping, everyone has had a more fair shot at getting attention. some of my numbers have been almost embarrassingly high.

and I don’t bother tuning for hot wheels, I might release something I have sitting around but I won’t test it.

only did hot wheels this week to get the 850. clearly best way to increase engagement is more 80 and 160 point cars.
