Agree but then Pathfinder had accolades but was one series only
yeah, I thought the pathfinder things had potential, shame it ended the way it did
the achievements that are apparently going to get added are the biggest clue - I really doubt that’s a one-series thing
ha - done it three times for the weekly points
taking time for my ageing head to get around it, noting of course there’s
how it is supposed to work
and
how it actually works
which are not necessarily the same thing!
I am not entirely sure it’s got enough legs to be enjoyable when grinding up to level 1000 in it, though, but we’ll see, I did eventually get the 1000 level badge in open but, like getting the 7th Eliminator win, it’s not something I actually go and do regularly unless there’s a requirement
Little late but shared a ‘73 Rover for the trial. Took a while to figure it out. Had to do stock trans, no wide body and no front aero.
Best enjoyed with m/c but may be ok with auto. Surprised how good it works at Mulegé.
Hide & Seek another pointless and childish activity with no merit, already not bothered doing the daily that includes earn 5 speed skills in a game of Hide & Seek.
Anyone else still stuck on chapter one of Forzathon with the Peel, have it in B class ( tried A as well ), presume it wants me to get all three stars in one speed zone rather than 2 here and another two there but can’t seem to be able to do that, rebooted several times, I’m on PC.
What exactly prevents you from doing the same speed zone (up to) three times?
stock options, series 38 “Hidden Horizons”, week 1 summer/wet season
[loose basis for approach; cheapest car that’ll do the stunts, least-driven car for races]
(weekly “Fruits of your Labour” – moral victory; no need for upgrades)
trial “Secret Service” – Jaguar F-PACE S (beat 3 robots twice then killed by a robot so 0)
eventlab “Meereen Creek Oasis” – Lancia 037 (short and sweet)
danger sign “Boardwalk” – Starion ESI-R (a bit tricky; 108.14m)
speed zone “Punto de Vista” – Starion ESI-R (a bit tricky; 80.71mph)
championship “Cat’s out the Barn” – Dodge Viper '99 (easy wins)
championship “Built Tough” – M-B G 63 6x6 (wins – quite easy/quite tricky/easy)
championship “3am Zoomies” – Jaguar XJ13 (easy wins)
treasure “Ev-en the Odds” – 6 speed zone stars in an EV (eg, Wuling Mini EV/Switchbacks)
RA speed zone “Devil’s Pass” – VW Golf ‘03 (easy; 73.29mph)
RA championship “C for Classic” – Lancia Stratos (easy wins)
HW speed trap “Horizon Nexus” – VW Golf GTI '83 (very easy; 168.31mph)
HW championship “Flex those Muscles” – Corvette ‘09 (wins – easy/very easy/easy)
thought I had explained that it does not register one or two stars no matter how many times I repeat them
Then, as always, restart the game
as above, really just trying to ascertain that I’m not the only one
PC here as well. Tried A class on 3 different speed zones, well above the 1 star limit, and repeated the same zone but hasn’t popped for me yet.
everything worked like it was supposed to for me, series x

After restarting (again) I would try getting a new Trident. It is cheap in the autoshow and I think this has fixed some of the issues in the past.
I often do that even before problems can arise, mostly because the car I already have doesn’t run the stock tuning anymore.
You may be one of many as these things often affect some people and not others.
I did a 1 star on three separate runs (one event) and it worked fine, so the usual FH glitch that affects some over others.
A reboot usually fixes most things though, so not sure why that didn’t sort it.
I usually take the safer option of a complete shutdown for a few minutes just in case as a straight restart can sometimes keep the glitch in memory.

I had the same issue. Got frustrated and haven’t tried since! Try again tonight.
Ah thank you so much, forgot about that little quirk did not have to do that for at least a year…
after buying a new peel from autoshow and tuning it to B everything popped.
Not a bad set of weekly challenges other than the bugged event lab that kept saying I had missed a checkpoint near the end of each lap. Do the devs even playtest these or just pick them at random?
Also in the barn finds championship every last AI racer was in a Viper. Seems like there might be a bug there. They were no match for my Ferrari 250 GTO.
I appreciated that for the Peel Trident a drag race was sufficient, they’re not great at corners (flipped the stupid thing trying to do a speed zone).
For the trial I was pleasantly surprised to find that the Napier Railton makes an amazing B class rally car with AWD + off road tires + suspension + gearing to turn the insane torque into speed. Beat the AI by a huge margin in both races.
