Engine swapping doesn’t seem to have any impact on it remaining AWD.
Guess it makes sense that it wouldn’t change the electric motors in the front end.
You can’t auction the E-Ray but there seem to be some available in the AH. Must have been modded into the game.
Hoping to do some tunes this week but ofc I picked a week with scant Trial info available.
I will be trying FM through GP but in the little I’ve played the previous titles in the past I definitely prefer the open world of FH and expect that is still true.
I won’t be doing FM based on past experiences with FM5, 6 & 7.
My xbox Live Gold got turned into GP Core - no chance to reject the change - but that doesn’t include FM so I guess, especially on all the negativity on it, I don’t think I’m missing much.
I enjoy both (been doing a lot of racing with the F1 car on FM7 lately) but I don’t like how FMhate is looking already. Looks like a huge bugfest. Not worth buying a brand new console for IMO.

I don’t think any console is worth buying for one game but for what it’s worth, I haven’t had a crashes or technical issues in my 21 hours of playtime on Series X.
I haven’t started playing the multiplayer aspect yet though.
I paid over $900 for a Series X to have it before FH5. worth every penny, game has crashed less than ten times in 2 years, almost no bugs I’ve heard everyone complain about
Wow - 900 $ for series X !! That’s harsh.
I bought one at the start of the year for 450 £ (not sure about the exchange rate but looks too high) after my one S blew up on me. Managed to fix it but still not returned to the one S after running the series X.
they were nowhere to be found in 2001, I was lucky I waited, they were more like $1200 until around August '21
immediately saw the loading times for FH4 about 10x faster. as someone who was tuning every car for every championship (ahem @x_ShadowsBane_x) the Series X saved me at least 10 hours a week right away
Agree on the times of the series X over the One S. It counts in everything.
Even in the eliminator, picking up a car drop has dropped from 20-30 secs to about 1 or 2 secs.
