Your BMW tune worked for me first attempt! Nice one!

Had a decent run on Horizon Baja but couldn’t bring it together on San Juan. Always struggle on that scramble.
Not that it mattered…

The Marathon seasonal championship was good fun. The AI traffic seemed like it was turned up to 11.
Add in the wet roads and it turned out to be quite the adventure.
Almost got DNF’d due to hitting traffic or other obstacles trying to avoid them.

Curious if others felt the traffic was increased compared to a normal Marathon run?
Whatever the case, enjoyed it.

Meh, not much to say here, teammates were gone within a few seconds and the AI was rubbish.

323 was good though even in auto, tune by Romie777.

Didn’t expect post-rain to be the weather condition for Marathon and the traffic density was way higher than when I enabled it in my blueprint, and a couple of them spawned in some irritating places through the quicker sections so was vastly slower than when I ran the aforementioned blueprint.

Also as seems to be the case when I do a finale course in co-op I get a person in my team able to keep up enough pace to complete the course with me…

Not really sure why that guy quit, could have got the 5pts easily there despite him clearly not engaging a single brain cell for his car choice.

Thanks for the shoutout & checking out the designs; it’s appreciated! :facepunch:t2:

stock options, series 39 “Back to the 90’s”, week 2 autumn/storm season

[loose basis for approach; cheapest car that’ll do the stunts, least-driven car for races]

eventlab “Horizon Wave Circuit” – Ferrari 288 GTO (okay, very colourful)

eventlab “Atlantica” – Porsche Cayman [‘15] (very nice design)

eventlab “Autodromo Tierra Pròspera” – 911 GT3 RS '16 (good circuit)

speed trap “Bypass” – BMW M5 ‘95 (fairly easy; 125.56mph)

speed zone “Cliffside” – BMW MR ‘95 (easy; 109.88mph)

drift zone “Farmland Trail” – VW Golf ‘92 (easy; 165,065)

championship “Run, Forrest. Run!” – Supra ’98 WP (easy win)

RA championship “All About Apex” – BMW M3 ‘97 (easy wins)

HW danger sign “Canyon Jump” – Hoonigan Group A (slightly tricky; 383.17m)

HW championship “Hot on their Wheels” – Rip Rod (easy wins; green ones are quicker)

Oof, that’s embarrassing having my not so great time on display for everyone to see. I reckon that the full aero tune NSX I was driving should do about 8.50-8.55 with me driving it, but instead I was driving like a noob and played pinball with far too many traffic cars (Yeah, yeah. I can at least make excuses like a real race driver.). I still would have had my behind handed to me, even without mistakes .

It went wrong already somewhere between the first four checkpoints, but a teammate quickly “helped” me get back up to speed. Then, I tried to regain some time in the tunnels, me driving a grip tune and all. Bad idea! There were hidden NPC cars behind a blind corner. The rest was damage control, and trying not to get DNF:ed. Oh, well. At least I got to yeet a badly placed NPC car off a bridge later on. Unintentional, but satisfying.

Hey 9:03’s not a bad time at all there considering the wet roads + heavy traffic :+1:

@T10ManteoMax mentioned “hamburger menu” elsewhere - made me feel a bit hungry but I refrained from asking for a double bacon cheese - be cold by the time it arrived, presumably

I’ve only run it solo this season and traffic seemed normal. The last street race SC I ran coop had a big increase in the npc traffic so I’m not surprised by your description. I might try it coop before the season is over. :+1:

I don’t think there was an increase in traffic in the seasonal Street events, or it didn’t bother me, or RNG was favourable when I did them.

Out of curiosity I decided to run the championship solo and there was way less traffic than when I did it in co-op.

ah, I always do the races by myself, could be relevant

You should give it a shot in co-op. If for nothing else than to see the carnage.

It was pretty crazy how much traffic there was at the start of the race with traffic on both sides of the road and players and drivatars smashing traffic all over the place.

It felt almost impossible to make it out of the pack unscathed.

You should try it coop. Last few I’ve run that way have been entertaining. Who knows how long it will last.

does this mean I need to suggest @x_ShadowsBane_x does it in co-op now? complete the loop?!

could do, I always worry about playing online with someone as I’m scared of getting something wrong in some manner, be it in a game or in communication, and in particular am terrified of being in a situation where someone feels I’ve let them down

The seasonal championships in coop work the same as the trial. The drivatars are highly skilled rather than unbeatable so it’s pretty casual. I wouldn’t worry about much. I’ve had much better experiences recently in SC coops than the trial.

I feel the same, I dread doing the trial for those reasons

I’ve been doing the championships in co-op for ages now and I’ve only had one legitimately bad experience with a teammate. There are obviously going to be differences in ability, accidents when going into corners and that sort of thing but 99% of the time it’s the best way to do the seasonal stuff.

Dat view tho
