It shows as BMW in some regions but it is KTM

Gotta go back. Sucks to win all three races and not finish this trial. Everyone was stock in my first attempt lol.

KTM, BMW, same thing - right? :roll_eyes: I really want to reach through the screen and slap the person who screwed this up.

@StoicCoyote7381
Any idea how I was supposed to guess that? I know it’s not your fault but I have to ask someone.

Yep, as a long time AMC fan I will agree that the Le Car was not well received by AMC owners in the US. The Alliance and it’s red-headed brother the Encore were even less appreciated. Shoddy workmanship on those two did them in. At least the LeCar looked a bit like the Pacer (headlight treatment), but that was not compliment. The Pacer had more than worn out its welcome by the time the Le Car hit our shores. These cars were not so fondly referred to as Franco-American Motors cars. The Fuego I feel had a bit better acceptance, but also suffered with poor quality control. The owner of our local AMC dealership drove a Renault Gordini, but I never saw another one on the lot.

I wish people would quit using the pre tuned cars already.

This is pretty disappointing, considering how well it handled in the monthly Rivals track pre-release.

Ouch…Open is painful enough regardless (imo) so I can empathize with your frustration having spent the time & then finding this out….

I was in a convoy with 2 friends from the USA otherwise I would be as frustrated as you

Yup, completely useless addition indeed. Posted about it, in the “report new issues” section.

Just for the preservation of evidence.

I also just ran my turbo…and it fell into a 2:43 on bocho. Not bad. I actually enjoyed driving the turbo the best it had a better turn in on wonderland. Not really a fan of this weeks trial at all…but I did run 4 times on it. That is all for me for the week. Already onto the mazda a800 trial for next week.

@ziperrPL tune for the Clio.

Full team of upgraded cars. Messing about up front so sat in 4th and let them fight amongst themselves. Passed them on the second lap and drove away.

The ww event - missed a CP on second lap after getting into lead, down to 5th. Worked my way back into second and into first when the player went way too high up the banked section at the last turn. Slowed to give try let him have the win but he had slowed to a crawl

Used the Shelby for the pr stunts

I think its possible to join an open membership club with a lot of people pretty quickly. Then you have all the club rivals to choose from. Im in a small club i was invited to. I dont know anybody in it, but it saves me from scrolling forever when we have one of these challenges. I dont think these come up very often.

The Trial disaster continued this week. I think the person driving the Clio Williams was the only one was driving a clean race. Everyone else was either vindictive sore losers or couldn’t keep the car in control in a fashion that made them appear like vindictive sore losers, which I do genuinely believe was the case for one or two of them.

Thankfully my Clio Concept and I were in pretty good sync after a quick pre-registration freeroam drive and tuning update. Won all three events, though we only won the trial thanks to some people quitting. I was not willing to attempt blocking for such a crashy bunch.

In the off chance that the Clio Williams driver reads this, I am sorry I cut you off on Cathedral. I thought I had the line, but even if I did I should have left you room on such a tight course with so many AI (not to mention “teammates”) threatening all the space around us. Thankfully, didn’t end up hurting you too much, but still, my bad. You were a great teammate.

Seems like a lot of players didn’t like the tracks in this Trial but I was really happy to see 3 tight circuits because that’s what my 2010 Clio tune was made for.

Went with race slicks and front and rear aero. It wasn’t the fastest car on the tracks but it outhandled the competition.

Slicks and full aero in B class? Genuine question, does that really produce the best lap times?

I’m asking because I’ve always felt that there is a grip to power “sweet spot”, but I’ve never actually tested out my theory, mostly due to my stubborn bloody-mindedness and determination to ignore the meta. I do have grip builds and power builds, but very rarely both on the same car.

Not that it’s of any relevance to the quesiton or conversation, but I always build and tune the cars the way I want. Which means, among other things, that I don’t have the generic Forza wing on a single one of my builds. So I’ve got no expertise on the impact of aero in B class, hence my curiousity.

I also almost never go above street tires in B class.

Did exactly the same and car handled these circuits like a champ
On one run last night though we had 4 teammates (I always use that word loosely lol) who couldn’t drive if their lives depended on it pfftt. Thankfully they quit out in the middle of the 2nd race, after losing us the 1st one, and we went on to win haha

Does anyone have a good tune for the RA Championship In the Works?
Here’s hoping!

Thanks for this! Without this forum would have been stuck on that one and many frustrating laps in a BMW.

Schoolboy error that on the part of PG. Wonder if they will send a message in the menu?
