Forza math…
I used the PR stunt speed trap to do the weekly. I was in my S1-class Camaro. I expected to be told I was using an invalid vehicle. The game didn’t seem to mind at all that the car was in entirely the wrong class.
As for the Trial, it went to three races, and I won all of them. My best guess is that all my teammates were in absolutely stock Corsas, whereas mine was built and tuned, but kept to the stock PI.
Any S2 Anything Goes stunt can be done in any car up to S2 998. I always do my Drift Zones in an A800 Volvo if that’s the “”“restriction”“”.
IMO it’s completely unnecessary to bring a tuned Corsa for the Trial. The car is more than capable out of the box already. The only thing I did was to put the race diff in but I didn’t even touched the settings and could have presumably done comperatively well without installing it.
got me here - what?
usually it’s “up to”; on occasion it is more strict than that for no apparent reason
The 585 amongst the stock 584. Mine was like that as well, showing 584 only in the car selection but 585 basically everywhere else.
ah, didn’t spot that, doh!
there are a few cars where completely stock, after resetting, show two different numbers - Jeep Trackhawk being one of them, can be 750 or 751, you can upgrade and reset and the numbers remain different
It’s usually a tyre or rim swap that shows correct then adds a PI point after exiting.
At least that’s what it was on occassions i had it happen.
Still, I’m suprised it doesn’t register as outside the stock PI but it is what it is with this game.
for the screenshots, yes, but for the issue I found you can have two completely stock cars, reset however many times after an upgrade and they’ll show two different PI numbers right next to each other - if I see it again I might try to specifically mess about with the wheels to see if that does correct it but as I say, an upgrade and a reset doesn’t as far as I’ve seen
it has a “feel” about it like the stupid thumbnails in the garage, where older ones remain blurred no matter what is done to the car

I think the big difference is that I have no problem whatsoever with newbies who aren’t as quick as me. I was a newbie once; you may have been too.
I don’t mind if we don’t win a championship because there are slow newbies on the team. It means another go at the races and guess what, I enjoy playing the game. I don’t need the car or whatever the prize is as I’ve got them all already; it’ll just become something to tune up and give away.
It’s really not a big deal for back markers to quit and go practice before rejoining a team event. If they enjoy the game also it seems like the perfect choice. It takes practice to improve. Until one’s competitive with other players there’s no reason to think it needs be in coop.
There’s a limit to the number of players that can be carried. I don’t mind carrying them. If the championship is lost though they aren’t being carried. Everyone loses.
Yeah, I have no problem at all carrying people so long as we pull off a win, but what drives me crazy are the players who are miles behind the field in an elimination race, know full well that finishing the race where they are will make the whole team lose…and yet decide to cross the line anyway. If you’re guaranteed to lose either way, at least have the basic decency to quit so that maybe the rest of the team can win.
I can forgive newbies as they are not that hard to spot and, surprisingly, they are the ones who tend to drop out pretty quick if they can’t compete.
It’s the Pestige players who should know better. They have been around long enough to know whats required for Co op.
GreetedDust has a stock Corsa tune that does this. Usually if you re-apply the tune it sorts itself out,but not this one.Possibly its because you normally go up a class if its 1 extra, but not here
Thought I was in for my first ever 0pts season after the 1st race as this single attempt at the Trial was all I’m doing for this week…
Woeful Riviera time as my tune was entirely made for Tierra so the top speed is non-existent, that’s slower than both my own + Bravo’s Rivals times on Riviera in D class had my teammates been any good they’d have beat me with the stock Corsa.
AI as inconsistent as usual, Tierra looks straightforward from the times but it took me about 1.25 laps to take 1st, but then on Jardines not even half a lap
Not a good team apart from markus and Capsic (who was doing well before they quit, must have just decided there was no hope of the team winning) but I’ll mention/show a bit more in the following post…
Seeing what was discussed further up I think this is the kind of people Rex was referring to…
And they drove right into my path shortly after taking the above.
I mean as well as the not quitting aspect this is just a person straight up not trying at all, that’s the only thing that puts a player that far behind in every single race, to the point of even getting lapped in a 3 lap race of a short 1.6 mile circuit.
I’ve said this since the FH4 days I personally think if a player scores 0 in both or all 3 races then they should receive nothing if the team wins, people like the above should not be rewarded for contributing absolutely nothing, making everyone else have to do more to make up for that and in that guy’s case clearly doing it intentionally.
Being a new player isn’t a free pass for a lack of basic courtesy and common sense, the few hours it takes to reach HOF and be able to enter the Trial in the first place is ample time to learn the fundamentals of driving in this or any other racing game.
Maybe hes just not very good but still likes to take part? Ive never won a trial but always try my best to do my bit, does that mean i shouldnt be allowed to partake because i cant come 1st in a trial?
Just a t.thought but heres a lot of people who are genuinely poor drivers but still like to play the game with other people. As long as they dont spoil your race by ramming or whatever i cant see the problem.Just my opinion, not wanting an argument.
