Realized you couldn’t really see the design for the McLaren Sabre on the video link & not everyone cares to watch a video, so here’s a still of it for anyone interested. Thanks!

Design SC: 602 373 513 - “Metal Sabre”

Yeah, it’s quite a bit in the cockpit for sure, but tried to minimize the exterior accents to just compliment it as best I could & with a darker, metallic orange.

I didn’t notice but I black out the windows for almost all designs. Plus the orange goes nicely with the Gulf orange/blue theme. And Man City gonna Man City.

I hate that you can’t change the blue center of the rims

3 Trials down with top place in all and all won comfortably.

The first trial was what i like, 3 level 5’s, 2 3’s and 1 2.

Nice all round competitive driving but unfortunately for them, the Eagle blasted it home both races.

2nd trial had a joker riding walls and trying to t bone me in a Toyota 86, was funny how i would slide into the corner to be just in front and then they would shunt me from behind giving me a lead boost

The corner bombing was just as comical and had to be seen to be believed

Don’t these guys understand that high level drivers know how to countenance them by now

Once again the Eagle reigned supreme.

3rd Trial was low level drivers so the Eagle just blitzed them…again.

The Eagle is so smooth to drive and takes those corners like a champ. By far one of my favourites in this game.

  • Interesting events
  • The new cars are very nice so far
  • The AI continue to cheat, especialy when playing in conboy. It’s worse on Hot Wheels DLC. It got to a point where they even apear in front on the leaderboard on the finish screen even tho you finished ahead of them. This is pretty bad.
  • The AI continue the erratic and swearving behavior and this causes the player to miss a checkpoint.

Agree completely regarding AI. What happened?

Still learning how to use this forum, trying to post a result using one of my dirt tunes below.

A good Subaru tune for the dirt championship. Note that first two courses have a lot of asphalt and are very wet. Offroad tires help a lot on the mud but hurt you on the road.

Probably the best choice for the cross country championship is the Porsche Macan.

The first course is Urban Cross Country. My least favorite CC course and I love CC. Try to go inside on first turn and drive past all the wreckage.

By the way, all my tunes are set up for manual with clutch.

Feel free to add me as a friend if you would like someone to do coop racing with. I generally race clean but am happy to escort rammers off the nearest bridge.

For the trial. the Lotus Exige is an easy choice. This tune is easy to drive , good off the line and fast enough to evade most rammers. The time below is pretty good considering the guy using cheats to teleport and ram me the entire race.

The Trial again: Porsche 718 GTS. Faster than Lotus but a little worse handling.

Amazingly, this team won with my car being the only tuned car. Was a nice easy drive for me and got to see the last course, Linea Costera, one of my favorites.

Enough for tonight. Again, feel free to add me as a friend and we can do some coop racing, convoy, etc. I am in Portugal but play at weird times due to insomnia so might be playing at any time.

Thanks

Did you try the other porsche? I ran it tonight…I love the 718 but the other cayman was a much better choice I found. It rocked my earlier score of 3:08 at Mulegé down to 3:07 and for me that is a really good score on that track. My hands were tired from playing all day to lol.

hey I been following you since very early days of FH5, you’re an excellent off-roader

I think you are referring to the 2015 Cayman? I have a tune for it but haven’t had a chance to run it. Maybe tonight after I try to tune up a TVR. Anything TheGillesMuller says is good requires a look. He is a hell of a driver.

Hi Geistwriter. Very kind of you. Have always loved CC since FH4. Wildly different approach to driving and tuning than street though so hard to get any traction on those tunes.

You are a heck of a tuner. I was trying to get to level 20 and was running into your tunes constantly when trying to put up the “best” tune. Spent countless hours switching out arbs, tires, rims, etc to figure out what you did. Should have just asked you on here!

you have some great tunes out there as well, and I’m always available to chat, best to reach me on Xbox messages

I tried my 2015 Cayman. I have it tuned for speed so did not do great on Mulegé. Good for the other two courses though and absolutely blasts off at the start.

Again, very kind of you. Feel free to touch base with me anytime as well. So refreshing to converse with nice people about Forza. That other red site is a cesspool.

Made two tunes for cars i even haven’t driven before, Alfa 4C and BRZ22, both where decent enough to win every races but brz was littler bit faster overall.

Otherwise rather easy trials this time, not too much pushing and overall clean races.
