Open top cars is one of the Horizon specials. I used a stock 720s Coupe. Itâs in there.
Yup, deny 3 flags didnât work for me. I denied at least 5 in one game. Restarting the game made no difference.
Took 4 attempts on the Trial (2012 Exige S w/ Ugrundyâs tune).
#1 runaway AI and three teammates who couldnât score â lost in 2 races
#2 another player and I could usually score in the top three. Won the first. Lost the second. But lost the third due by 150 to 2 runaway AI and a teammate who couldnât score or just quit.
#3 quit at the first checkpoint of the first race due to a teammate knocking me outside the gate so he could have a better line
#4 won in two with two good teammates making up for two poorer ones who thankfully quit between races
Still need to do the Playground Games and Horizon Open challenges. So far I havenât encountered any bugs this Series.
Okay⌠so far so good⌠treasure hunt completeâŚnot bugged! Got the easy stuff done for 20 point Nismo.,.
Now just to do the rest and wait for the dailiesâŚ

Yeah - same here - idiot teammate knocked me of the checkpoint just for a better line then had the cheek to Link - âYou missed a checkpoint!â wot a git. Won the race at least so thatâs all good. Just a shame people donât know what a team event is. Spent ages behind another one who passed me but was so slow to catch the AI so after that we didnât win that one cos I had to keep slamming on the anchors just to avoid knocking him off. Probably shouldâve just done that instead.
I took a risk in the Trial and used K1Z Suiminâs tune on the '99 Elise, itâs RWD but I thought it would hold itâs own off the line.
Started 4th in the human team and could only finish a 2nd in the 1st race due to a teammate making it awkward to pass them for a quarter to half a lap which by then meant a runaway drivatar could begin and I couldnât catch it.
Strangely despite the tune only resulting in a 156mph top speed I won Gran Pantano + Descansar Dorado comfortably.
Itâs a shame the Esprit isnât in FH5 yet, on this weekâs tracks it would probably be the best A-Class Lotus by a mile, I remember it being very good full stop in FH4.

I hate Horizon Open Playground Games. I almost never get to go straight to an event. Almost always I end up in limbo land while waiting on an event in progress to finish. Took 45 minutes to get and finish a match so I could the Horizon Open playlist challenge. People should be able to go straight into the 1st round of a match. It is not good when it takes 5 attempts to actually get into a match where you can participate in round 1.
Also if a specific type of event is in the playlist, that type of event should show up in EVERY Horizon Open Playground Games match that week. People should not have to spend tons of time trying to find a match that will meet the requirement.
Thankfully I got my 3rd flag denial with 5 seconds to spare in the match.

I might try that tune on the Elise. Now that I have gotten the win and have raced on all three courses, I feel like I can experiment more and still do well. That means a few minutes in the paint booth applying my custom color of paint (I wish you could save a paint color for later use) and vinyls.

I thought the least theyâd have done this week is have 1 of the first 2 events of the seasonal be team flag rush so everyone would have a shot at getting it there.
When people talk about PG only caring about player engagement metrics stuff like that only backs it up, I did the games accolades months ago in the Open events and I never saw a full lobby back then, what better way to combat that than implement an objective like this weeks + put flag rush as the 3rd event in the seasonal PG which most wonât get to?

Has anybody else had problems with the game recognizing that weâre in a Mosler? I canât get to the 2nd chapter as it doesnât recognize it. I bought a new Mosler, restarted the game, but still glitched.

The 2002 model. Thatâs the only one that qualifies.
Agree - had the same issues - each of the time it was an individual event - still yet to find a team one.

Thatâs another annoying thing. It lets you see what cars you can use, but doesnât show your tuning, or let you pick your car from that list.

Tried the Bentley Blower 4-1/2 Litre Supercharged (1930), S1, 900, AWD - 1298HP, 7l Engine - still couldnât hit 190 !!! And that must be an open-top surely.
Would be nice if you could choose to get in a car from the eligible cars screen.

Dont give up after 1st race on Trial. 2nd and 3rd are much easier. It is very unlikely that will win 1st race.
The 1st is a disaster, a huge misunderstanding

Is this another glitch ? I donât know of any 2002 Moslers.
I agree that the sprints are easier against the AI than the circuit. Even the circuit is winnable as long as you donât get runaway AI.
The only reason I quit on the first race is I didnât want to be on a team with someone that knocks you out early.
