Festival Playlist events and rewards Mar. 13 - Mar. 20 (Winter S44)

tour was upgraded to 8 points a while ago but after series 20 when this playlist previous ran so it seems that the devs didn’t update the seasonal totals to reflect the new numbers after keeping the tour points revision

Yeah I’ve noticed that it goes back and forth between 3 & 8 so I wasn’t sure if I had misread it this week after the drop but convinced I had seen 8 before and 8 given after.

This season is 75 points. It has the extra 5 points available for the increase in the tour points over last time.

If you had done everything available wouldn’t you be at 70/75 since there were 5 dailies left (now 4)?

That Tour bug is ridiculous. When I first saw it, I stared at it for a good 20 seconds trying to comprehend what I was seeing, and then took it as an opporunity to go the Rally expansion and knock out the Tour and Open accolades. When I went back to Mexico, it seemed to resolve itself.

Ah, didn’t see that. Thought it was the usual 70. (sure it said that on my playlist before)
So the 8 points for the Tour is correct.
It seems to be the case as I’ve just gone up to 61 with the 2 seasonals and 4 dailies to go.
Thanks.

stock options, series 44 “High Performance”, week 3 winter/dry season

[loose basis for approach; cheapest car that’ll do the stunts, least-driven car for races]

weekly “Situated Beyond” – Ultima 1020

trial “What Goes Around…” – Ginetta G10 RM (beat 4 robots then 3, I saw 5 and 2; wot no grip?)

eventlab “Blue Lagoon Raceway” – Huracán STO (good one)

games “Fleeting Flag Rush” – Flying Spur ’21 (was never going to do well, especially in a 3v6)

danger sign “Basejump” – Taycan S WP (not that hard; 544.51 m)

speed trap “Tulum” – Pro Stock Camaro (easy; 194.32 mph)

drift zone “Camino de Montaña” – Ford Mustang SVO (not that hard; 130,440)

championship “Racing in Style” – Napier Railton (easy wins; wot no brakes?)

championship “Fresh off the Grill” – Hyundai i30 N (easy wins)

RA drift zone “Devil’s Pass” – Ford Mustang SVO (not too hard; 119,089)

RA championship “Tour Galore” – Toyota GR Yaris (very easy wins)

HW speed zone “Frozen Rush” – Hoonigan Group A (not too hard; 162.99 mph)

HW championship “American Dream” – #2 Ford GT40 (very easy wins)

Going forward it’s gonna be really annoying redoing past Playlists with car upgrade tasks when I’ve already bought most of the upgrades I would have to complete them. I got a kick out of the blurb for the last step of the Forzathon challenge putting the Ultima’s top speed at 190-something when I got the stock version up to 240 on the highway.

Yup - that’s a valid point. Especially for all the seasoned tuners out there.
Thankfully I don’t fall into that category and still have a ton of duplicate cars that I can upgrade, stick a tune on or whatever, but I get your point.

I suppose they could just use the annoying M3 '08 exploit and buy a bunch of those to upgrade.
I just don’t get why this car is being able to be sold at 12.8M when you can get it off the AS for 48K. People still pay millions on them for no apparent reason other than to try to exploit that.
It’s about time the devs see sense and stop this. I buy one for 48K, put it up but can’t get it below 200K min selling and 1.1M min buyout so end up just getting them back after a no bid and just gift them away. What’s going on on with that car ?
Why can’t we just choose our own selling / buyout prices or just stop the ridiculous exploit to bring it back in line with it’s true value ? It doesn’t even have any decent perks anyway.

I think that particular car has become the way players give credits to friends or even strangers they want to help.

It could well be that though gifting in the AH is tricky without a co-ordinated off general mic on a private chat session or personal messaging to get it done.
I don’t disagree with people helping others that might be struggling for cash but it’s just annoying to see a car that you’ve put up for a fraction of what the others are asking being ignored when they are exactly the same car.
At least buying them puts up the annoying achievement of 400 cars and gets some Mastery points and FP points though they are again a bit pointless at this stage of the games lifespan.

If the Lotus driver from my Trial happens to read this, I apologize for making an absolute hash of the first race and bumping you out of a checkpoint. I couldn’t even manage to block the AI properly afterwards. At least I was much more competent in the other two. Estadio was the race we had without the obligatory runaway AI out front.

Couldn’t think of anything else to do so did the 40pts from the 19 I was sat at, Tour was first, did want a Road one but A800 Dirt 1970’s came up first, that’s different enough that I thought it could be interesting, I was left feeling rather awkward at the end…

At least they beat the AI, think I’ve been in 2 teams in the past where incredibly that hasn’t happened.

I don’t get that statement on the tile about its speed - Ultima claim over 240 on their web page

Why you are banned ?

Tour always get 8 points.

Guys, I don’t understand what I should do here
Description “Complete the maps in free ride mode” please explain

I believe it’s: Challenge Accepted Complete a Challenge Card in Freeroam.

There are a few random Super 7 challenges that are accessible by icons on the map. You can filter the map to just them. You have to complete one for the daily.

I just completed all 7 tasks and got super wheelspin but I didn’t get the missing 1 point and the task is not completed

Because it’s not Super 7. Super 7 is built of 7 Challenge Cards. This tells you to do a Challenge Card in freeroam, nothing to do with Super 7. People really need to stop equating them with Super 7.
