I do already have a tune for the '02 available from last time but that will be getting deleted and replaced on Wednesday, found over a second improvement here and would be just inside the top 100 were it not for a total of 40 odd cheaters above me.

Not that I expect anyone to download a Barbie tune but I’ll be sharing that also given that I’ll be using it myself, around 1.7-1.8 seconds improvement vs last time + set a top 100 time with it on an RA route beforehand, it’s still awful but as least as it can be.

CTS-V Wagon is a strong car, Plaza’s poorly suited to it and it still managed a very good time, on more power oriented tracks I’d be quite confident that would turn out to be the best Cadillac by some distance with an AWD conversion, other than the ATS-V which also has a bodykit to help it the rest are just too heavy for this course.

I didn’t get around to doing any work of this week until today for various reasons so that’s why I didn’t post the preview thread this week as I usually do

I’m only now getting things together for this week so thank you for posting these suggestions

Is it confired the hated challenge “earn three ultimate speed skills” in horizon open? If I remember well the only manner to obtain it is with a quick car on the highway waiting to enter in open lobby, isn’t it?

That’ll work if waiting to join lobby but it’s also doable on suitable sprint races with fast car.

Used your 02 tune. Tidy.

Two easy wins. Even dnf’d half the grid in the first event.

PR stunts easy enough in stock m3

you mean the “earn 6 ultimate speed skills in horizon open custom racing”, right?

it can work that if (actually, when) you get dumped into free roam while another race continues that you can do the skills and they’ll count

why can’t we make topics except in the auctions section?

the game shows that the 2018 and 2020 versions are also eligible, not just the 2010

In the games events, when the rest of the team quits, you’re 13-2 down, why does the other team insist on just being annoying by preventing you from picking up flags and honking horns when it’s impossible for them to lose? It achieves nothing. I mean, they lose the chance of getting a “flag denied” score if they don’t allow the one car left to drive and pick it up.

What a mayhem Plaza Circuit was, people don’t use car brakes at all, they just use your car as a brake. Even worse, lost two trials until got a decent lobby.

Drag tires worked surprisingly well, even on Plaza.

This trial was the closest I’ve come to sending somebody over the side of that hill at the end of Plaza Circuit. I’d overtake this person and they’d use me to get around the next corner, for three laps. Beat them on the last corner because they didn’t have anyone to crash into to help them but I don’t think it would’ve been unpopular with the rest of the team.

stock options, series 48 “Cars & Coffee”, week 3 winter/dry season

[loose basis for approach; cheapest car that’ll do the stunts, least-driven car for races]

weekly “Innovation that Excites” – Nissan 370Z (“Reservoir” 288,657)

trial “On the Circuit” – Camaro ME '69 (beat 5 robots then 3 after messing up)

eventlab “Plynthcraft – Race 2” – Morris Traveller (nice sort-of AC Origins meets Lego design)

eventlab “Calypso Coastline” – Honda NSX-R GT (decent circuit)

eventlab “Grounds Raceway GP” – Jaguar C-X75 (not bad)

games “Car-ffeine Rush” – Hoonigan Bel Air (not exactly great)

speed trap “Callejón” – BMW M3 ‘97 (easy; 115.52 mph)

speed zone “Pyramid of the Moon” – BMW M3 ‘97 (quite easy; 100.21 mph)

drift zone “Precipice” – BMW M3 ‘97 (easy; 83,520)

championship “A Mug-nificent Collection” – Alfa Romeo 33S (easy wins; “mug-nificent”?)

championship “Be a Good Sport” – Soarer '97 (easy wins)

RA danger sign “La Cantera” – Ariel Nomad (not too hard; 283.70 m)

RA championship “In the Hot Seat” – Ford Escort RS (easy or very easy wins)

HW speed trap “Horizon Nexus” – Audi TT RS (very easy; 222.92 mph)

HW championship “Time to Play” – McLaren 600LT (easy or very easy wins)

It’s still rubbish :joy: no idea why it was ever added to the game at all and why they didn’t at least give it some basic upgrade options like aero, AWD swap, weight reduction or track width.

I think this is strong evidence though that tunes aren’t ‘needed’ per se, 4 stock cars, one upgraded but not fully CTS-V and my joke car, yet ended up in one of the most one sided wins for the team I’ve had in ages in a Trial.

1 - please explain which category of cars is required to participate in the championship for which Nissan Z370 is awarded? Apparently, there are difficulties with translation, and I have the type of car “A800 - Collector’s Edition” listed, but there is no such category in the types of cars

2- Can you please show me (screenshot with arrows!!!) where on the forum I can just write a message in a topic? I can’t see the button, and I have to constantly reply to someone’s post to write in a topic
