Candy canes and trees are all over the place. The Candy canes are easy to get inside the ice rink. Several trees in there too, then just go to the cities/towns and drive around and you can easily find the rest. The Snowmen are the issue. I had to use the Solo/Rewind tactic to get that one to work.
Have to say, I was nearly crying with laughter reading this thread. The workarounds and ātranslationsā required to try and get through these challenges are brilliant.
My result was a bit different. I thought itās time for H4. First week after release it was OK. Itās still funny here but playing it? I am not sureā¦
Bowling in the deep is the worst (worst worst) event iāve played on both FH4 & FH5.
Iām 100% sure itās not even been tested. All the jumps and air on the ramps are random af. Itās like this whole part has been designed by a new player ā¦
Had to retry 10 times each jump and play on tourist difficulty.
Iāve run the tracks a few times and tuned the car so I can comfortably beat expert.
Attempt 1, I was by far the quickest car, gapping the next player by at least 5 sec, though best I could mange was 4th and 3rd.
AI was really fast, I was barely gaining on them in the long runs. My lap was pretty tidy, turns clean without running wide etc.
Attempt 2, Followed another player past the lead AI on lap 1, of first race, team only gave up 100pts. Next race I was in the lead mid way, losing it to another player on a bad jump where I caught some rotation and finishing second. AI was slower than expert.
Iād really like to know if this is RNG or if the AI are pace matching to something in other players builds, however the inconistency in pace really doesnāt help. The first one really was unbeatable (with my tune and skill) while the second barely a challenge.
Iāve seen this before in other trials, just more exagerated in CC due to the AIās seeming lack of slowdowns from the environment.
May explain some of the different player experiences.
Finished up the last championship, this street one is way easier than the circuits one since the Mustangs have so much hp.

Now on to the next broken weekly eventā¦the Forzathon weekly Challenge āFuture Classicā (Nissan 240SX) let me get to the beginning of ch.4, then it reset back to the beginning of ch. 2. By itself, itās not a big problem, but when added to the Everest-size pile of rubbish that the game is already becoming, itās just another reason for me to go back to Fallout 4. Iāll probably keep playing it because I donāt want the money I paid for this to be a total waste, but I have already found myself returning to FH3 and FH4 to get my (less buggy) Forza fix. Iām getting so bloody tired of filing support tickets every day, only to see them ignored.
You have summed up precisely why PGG are not rushing to fix the gameā¦they know a lot of people will keep playing otherwise it will be money wasted. PGG have zero incentive to fix itā¦players will keep playing, Microsoft and Xbox will continue congratulating them on a job well done (10 million players and counting after all!!!) and Playground will continue effectively telling people that a Series X/S is not worth the cost when one of the flagship titles is an appalling messā¦sure the game is great in a lot of areas but it doesnāt negate the shambles some parts are in whether through bad design, bad programming, incompetence or sheer laziness
Playground, you suck. You probably know it, which is why you had to basically build a new studio inside the original to develop Fable. You should be thankful your only competition these days is games made by companies everyone loves to hate.
So, not only do we have bugged accolades that are seasonal, events are seemingly made more difficult as well. The first round of PGG I could barely see because of fog and multi colored floodlights, it was ridiculous and Iām not sure how we even won that match.
