Why does the game start “loading winter” whenever I go into freeroam for the first time, before showing me the playlist and then showing me all of the events on the map with a voiceover from one of the insufferable characters?

For the treasure hunt I drove through the speed trap then straight up the mountain in a Deberti F150. I had to drive on the road at the top by the start of the trailblazer to trigger the treasure. I don’t think which car used matters.
Also, tried the VW through the trap stock and was a little challenging. Gave up immediately and added rally suspension to lift it out of the water a bit. That made it pretty easy.
Edit: there’s many different reqs this week that are much easier with tunes. I wouldn’t hesitate to grab them.

BSV commented about THIS early on, so yeah, it’s been happening all day apparently & still is after I just logged in. This is a bit worse than the loop we usually see where it just opens the map every time; I’ve heard Haley describe the new season in multiple ways so far

What’s bugging me at the mo ? Arcade Events.
I load the map, see one but it’s got 12 mins to go. Go elsewhere for a while then back to the map - nothing showing at all !!! Tried 4 or 5 times now - same thing.
What is the deal Max ?
Do we have the ability to gift items to specific players or is it still just random?
Every 15 minutes on the quarters. I’ve had the same timing with them though like your description. When they’re missing I can usually switch to solo and then back to life and they’ll show.
Yeah but I see 12 mins to start, go back to map after 8-10 mins - nothing on map at all.
Yeah sorry, I added a bit in edit. They usually show after going into solo and back to life. It’s a workaround so idk what causes it.
I know it’s been a bug for a long time.
Guess I’ll just have to sit for a while and do nothing else instead. Nice programming PGG.

Fast X car pack is by far some of worst cars in the game. devs know it, that’s why they barely talked about it or justified it on the livestream.
the movie came out 7 months ago, this didn’t even tie into the marketing or release. would love to know what happened here.

They want to make more money - simple as that.
Haven’t bought a single one - Paid full Premium price for the game in my delusional days, so no reason to line their pockets further on a broken game.

It’s a bit late indeed. Perhaps they couldn’t scan the cars in time?
Would love some story missions to properly tie/introduce the cars in FH5 similar to how it was done in FH2 FnF.

This is the first car pack I’ve let go by simply bc I refuse to pay twice the usual price just for the branding & mediocre cars. I realize it’s only $10, but it’s more the principle of it for me. This also comes at the same time you can drop 22M credits on “new” AS cars that offer the option to purchase vouchers with real cash to cover these cars.

I wonder if people know they can tune their cars so they can turn. That trial was brutal. I had to play duck and dodge just to get by all the drifting and corner rammers. Luckily did a 30 minute tune last night on the element and smashed it. However, I honestly believe that motorsport left the worst drivers over here in forza. Gladly I am not building a computer next week. Wanted to do a few for the track toys trial.
