The 2 mainland SCs look good so I probably should have taken the time to run them rather than the stunts.
The biggest issue with the stunts was a seeming increase in npc traffic and at least one troll sitting in the road collecting that traffic. Then they were about as interesting as the FXX Evo/rs200/Mosler stunts that existed for the life of FH4.
Not that it is of importance to me, but I did just notice the “Classic Cinema Outfit” that has been discussed is actually the reward for one of these SCs. Thought I would point this out as I actually missed one of the exclusive cars recently bc it was locked behind a SC & I normally don’t even bother with those. Between the Forzathon challenge, EL & miscellaneous challenges, only needed 1 PR stunt to complete the 20pts.

Decided to tune the R8 Quattro and give it a couple runs through the Trial.
Handles fairly well on drag tires. Easy to get out in front of the pack early on.

Both times on Bosque I got t-boned by the AI coming out of cutting through the roundabout.
In the one incident the AI just kept pushing me right off the road and smack dab into a tree. Played catch up the rest of the way and came up just short of the 1st place AI.
Will I never have the civic FL 5 type r in forza horizon 5? OH God years waiting for this and every update only disappointments 
I also had controller, and stuttering issues on the 3rd race, Really bad timing, as was on the last section, so was not able to catch the 2nd & 3rd placed NPC racers, and could not turn for the final bend so crashed through the bridge barriers into the river bank. Fortunately kept my 4th place but lost as a team (Forza took pity on us even though we only won the 2nd race).
Not related to this race, but nice to get a new reward (outfit) related to the race theme.
that was exactly where my controller started blinking. hit the brakes for the last turn then lost connection and straight off the bridge

That Audi R8 is pretty good. I had previously built it with and without aero and tested it this week. Its performance was pretty much identical to the BMW M4 GTS on drag tires. Used both in 4 different rivals and the times were exactly the same down to the thousandth of a second in 3 of them. The M4 GTS doesnt have a lot of competitive options, so A class on drags is probably its best form.
One thing weird with the R8 … it was a little better everwhere with no aero. I tested pretty thoroughly.
I’ve really gotten into testing lately, which I previously hadn’t done enough of. I happened to get about 200 downloads in the last day, but they were mostly for an old BMW M2 I had. Its labeled “pretty good” … but it isn’t. I feel kind of bad.
PSA: If anyone downloads tunes from me, please check the date. If its old, skip it. My new stuff is really good. Most old stuff not so much. I’ll be deleting old stuff and share more in the future, but Im pretty sure everything stays in the tune store whether they get deleted or not.

We clearly lost the first two races but the game threw us a bone. Otherwise would have been yet another trial loss in 2 races. I didnt get away cleanly from the angry AI in any of the 3, banged into a wall and into grass, but that R8 on drags did its thing. It was really good in lowspeed turns. Had the perfect amount of oversteer. I might share one that tomorrow, probably in a big dump of stuff that I tested for this trial. Surely too late for most, but its a lot of really good stuff.
Hello. I am new here and i have a tiny question. I missed 2 forzathon daily challenges in winter this month. Any chance, even a tiny small one, that i’ll be able to do them?

I didn’t try the R8 without aero. I thought it might suffer from understeer with it being on drags but I’ll have to give it a try now.
I like how you can be 1st or 2nd place with the R8 by the time you get to the tunnels on Tunnel Run.
Now if only I could get out in front on Bosque before the roundabout, might be able to put in a good run.
I’ve had some luck with sharing Trial tunes on Friday evenings, I assume from players that don’t get around to doing the playlist stuff until the weekend, but it’s kind of hit and miss.
I’ve done two trials with two wins so no complaints there. What is clear though is Tunnel Run gives problems to lots of players. My two wins were a 2:26 and a 2:30, both times not really racing after about 30%. I kind of wish I could see the replays because it must’ve been like Burnout in those tunnels.

I’ve downloaded a couple of designs by you but it won’t allow me to apply them. What’s going on with that? I can download a random and apply it but not yours or several other designers who i am hanging to download as well.
I’d try the ‘Restore Default Paint/Vinyls’ option and then try to apply the livery again.
