Reminders and Tips
For any case of the game not behaving as expected (such as an event not unlocking), do the following before posting:

  1. Double check to see if your car actually meets the event requirements both in car model and PI Class.
  2. Reboot your device to see if that clears the issue.
  3. Read the Known Issues list and other articles at Forza Support for possible explanation or solutions.
  4. If your issue is not listed or solved by anything on Forza Support, use the link at the bottom of any article to Submit a Ticket so the team can log and investigate your issue.

Specifically, the Known Issues list includes this item:

  • Festival Playlist - Series 2 - Winter- Seasonal Championship - Feliz Navidad, Oh, Deer, '20 Supra GR Championship may not complete after finishing the races (Date Added:12.10.21)

So, they know on advance the event of broken, and yet they still release it. Question is, how did they know it was broken on advance? Did someone cheat and then report it, or did they intentionally release a broken event just to play silly games with us?
Makes me think the Trail Blazer event was released broken intentionally now just to force people to play parts of the game they don’t like to achieve the required points.
Either way you look at it, it does not look good for the company as a whole. I can’t blame the devs as much as the people at the top running the whole show. Devs will take the heat, and some of it is justified because they went alone with it.

only reason any of us would waste our time doing this crap is for the vehicles you can’t buy!! I don’t want to turn this game on anymore, which is sad!!!

Same here.

I’m having way more fun reading the anger and high dudgeon tapped out here than playing atm…

As you said - ‘sad.’

Started off at Hotel Castillo in the RX-7, went to the Rush outpost and found + smashed a few presents, went and did the speedtrap with it, went to the Street Scene outpost and found a good few more presents.

Then I went and got the Arcade out of the way, ever since that not 1 of the outposts has contained a single present including the 2 above I was at 5-10 minutes earlier.

I wondered if it was just me. Did some presents near an Arcade while waiting for the timer, did the Arcade. Went back to the same Outpost to see if presents had respawned, nope, in fact not a bit of Christmas at all there. Hoped it was just because I’d already done that one but nope, no Christmas anywhere. Waiting for a chance to get back to game after a restart and hope that fixes it.

EDIT : And done. Restart restored Christmas.

Enough with the Eliminator being part of the weekly activities. It is bad enough that it remains a weekly Challenge, but this week it is also one of the daily activities.

I know there are some who enjoy Eliminator, but I also know there are many who do not.

Presents all outposts except Baja for me… although at the street race another player was smashing them in front of me…

Is that eliminate 5 players in one game or does it carry over for multiple sessions?

I have the same question otherwise this will be a hard challenge for many!

I think that the Eliminator challenge is bugged. I had to eliminate much more than 5 players in order to get it to register

Multiple sessions?

I got it in my second session (3 + 4).

Their descriptions leave a lot to be desired and it’s near impossible to get any clarification.

It’s in the same game, unfortunately.

I just did 2 in a row where I got 4 eliminations and it’s not showing as completed. What’s annoying is that in the first game, I challenged a 5th guy to a head to head, was winning easily with under 200 metres to go, then the head to heads were cancelled for the final showdown.

But yeah, either it’s bugged (which is quite possible), or you have to get 5 elims in the same game.

I did it a few hours ago. Got 4 in the first game and 2 in the second and it popped for me.

Sometimes it doesn’t register right away…I got 2 in my first go, then another 2+2 in later goes but didn’t register. It popped when I loaded the game back up a few hours later

can someone explain why we have to upgrade the rx7 to s1 when its perfectly capable of doing the speed trap stock, i really am sick of this bs

I have it on good authority that the explanation is… " reasons "
