Weekly Challenge, I Wanna Be A Rockstar, Chapter 3 Like A Pro.

I just 3 starred 2 Danger signs and no progress shown. Chapter 1-2 were complete. They were signs I had completed before.
Do they have to be signs that have not been done? What if you’ve done them all already?

In last weeks Cross Country championship, I had to use a car that didn’t have a rally tune to even come close to catching the avatars. Only time I could actually win was using a car with racing slicks on it due to the max speed. This whole drivatar AI thing is a complete joke across the board! Last week had a car pull up beside me and make a hard left and T-bone me into the wall??? Why would they have drivatars programmed to do that??? It’s worse than playing online against people thinking it is funny to do that to teammates!

Yeah, its getting tiresome at this point. Its one of the reasons i did stop doing trials since my third or fourth try. Rammer AI in FH4 was almost non existent. Now, not only you need to deal with the childish rammer players but also you need to deal with the ramming AI…the rocket AI, the rail driving AI… hilarious. Again, there is a reason i avoid trials in FH5 at any cost.

I completed it first time same as usual, although I’m not doing it again, because I didn’t like the weather.

I’m really over the moon to report that, despite being listed Pre-Season as a known issue, I am now the proud owner of the epic Holiday Sweater because the Carol of the Bel Airs unlocked fine.

Ignore that. On the map it says trail series, but in the playlist itself there is no info. At least I know to look on the map as well next week!

I’m trying a Volvo V60 to start, Audi RS4 or RS5 after that.

So, surprise surprise.
The photo challenge bugs.
I positioned myself at the exact location of the picture in the festival playlist.
No Tree.
But I took the picture anyway,
And the challenge completed.

The list of the stupid bugs is growing by the minute.

Is someone in Playground in charge?
Or is it just complete anarchy?

If the quality of my own work was this bad, I would get fired without hesitation.

Lexus for the Trial makes it easy. Use a %1% tune called Trial

I found the middle round the hardest. I did the Trial twice thanks , to a rammer causing me to miss a checkpoint in round 2 the first time. I got 1st, 4th, 2nd.

Same, I had the same problem last photo challenge, from the ground perspective doesnt count, but when I go with the camera to a higher position it counts… and I aimed at the same place. Its just really bugged.

Because this week’s details simply do not load on the map, I can’t smash any snowman neither, as they are just not here.

Will we get a hotfix for this week, or is it just going to be another waste of a week?

This photo one worked first time for me unlike last week. Though I probably framed this better with the building behind it.

Still works:

  • go to the crater of the volcano, you find a few snowmen there ( 3 - 5)

  • switch to single player mode

  • smash a snowman, rewind and repeat this process until you have 15 smashed ( or one 15 times to be precise)

  • voila

The snowmen loaded, as it was nighttime, they sort of glowed too, so easy to find.

Anyone know which ones are bugged and broken?

Going on experience so far, I think we should expect at least two of them to be broken from the start.

So glad I didn’t actually pay full price this time round… Is this the future for Game Pass?.. No extra payments, but what we get for our subscription is the public beta.!!!
