So gone through the Winter Season playlist. Have 58/61 points. But, I still have four daily challenges coming, AND the Arcade event, which appears to be broken. Every time I attempt it, it’s not available. Any clues on how that works? So long story short I have 7 points still available but only three remaining in the season. Someone setting these up not clear on Math? Or is it me.
Tip for anyone struggling with ‘A Fine Addition’. I tried multiple tunes on multiple cars and failed to make my way to the front of the pack, Switched to the ‘Bugatti Chiron 2018’, threw all upgrades on it. Ran a test run to see how it handled before starting a tune and sure enough, made it to the front of the pack without too much difficulty in all subsequent races. No tune. Still takes some luck to get a team capable of holding their positions but the Chiron though pushing in the corners was pretty predictable and manageable. Wasn’t my first choice. Acceleration monster.
The best car to use in this is the Mclaren Senna with the don joewon song S2 998 tune and if you get lucky enough to find a team where everyone is s2 class or lower then you might be able to win but if someone has X class then your chance of winning are very slim. If you don’t win the first 2 races then you won’t win because the 3rd race is a joke with steps and outcroppings jutting out all over the place along with the billion turns every half a second. The first and third track in this are the worst tracks I have ever seen in these horizon games. I swear the devs sit and laugh trying to make the game as difficult as possible and I am very good at this game, I usually can beat any AI with no problem until I started playing horizon 5 with the AI on a mixture of meth and steroids and their cars run on tracks instead of the way we drive them.
there will be no third race, the trial ends. A welcome change since FH4. Also, I didn’t find the third race all that hard. On the contrary, when we lost the first race, all the idiots left, and then we, one competent guy and I, managed to win the last 2 races pretty easily.
