The real Ferrari FF has a system that disables the front wheel drive portion of the all wheel drive system once the car is in 5 and 6th gear. Does Forza model this? I imagine it would be incredibly menial to model and probably hard to do, but none the less I’d be curious if there would be a difference in the car on how the drive train is modeled.
The wiki link you posted says this, “It functions only when the manettino dial on the steering wheel is in the “comfort” or “snow” positions, leaving the car most often in the traditional rear wheel drive layout.”
T10 probably made it rwd so it doesn’t have any advantage over rwd or awd.
I haven’t driven it in FM5 yet but if it is anything similar as FH, driving it will feel like a traditional RWD. Odds are it has a major rearward biased diff in stock form. I could be wrong as I mentioned before.
I don’t think it does, but it would be difficult to tell if so. It really wouldn’t perform any different unless you put the rear grip on -75% traction like you could in FM4. I don’t know if you can in FM5 private lobbies. Haven’t checked. But that would be the only way you could tell unless they suddenly added ice/snow weather effects.
More or Less, I think it could be interesting car. Possibly some great off the line grip but slightly less understeer on a fast sweeper?
Don’t even joke about weather effects… Mmmm I’m sure it’d look beautiful and make for some fun and chaotic lobbies.
