Toyota supra RZ 1998
B600
Tuned for short tracks and late breaking with abs
the tune is called b1 and my username is hoodrich1825
Looking for some people to test my tune and give me feedback via the forums or through a message on the xbox thanks.
Ps.car was tuned on catalunya national circuit with abs
before I start out I’m no tuning expert but I have been making my own tunes.
Took the car out on the Catalunya National and did about 10 laps I was able to get a clean 1.23.285,(steering normal, manual without clutch) not sure how this compares to what you were able to get out of it. Everyone has different preferences to what they like and how they drive.
Feedback - tire pressure I would take about .5-1.0 psi out of both the front and back they were getting close to 33lbs after being warmed up, I try to keep mine at 32. To me it felt the car was a bit stiff, while it stuck to the road and handled well I might take off 50lbs from the front and rear suspension for flat tracks and keep it as is for the hillier ones. I found it was a little slower to turn into corners than how I like to drive, increasing castor, toe out, and more negative camber would change that.
Gearing - while all the others might just be ‘driver preference’ I think playing around with the gearing would make that car a lot quicker. I’m not sure how comfortable you are changing individual gear ratios or if you just adjusted final drive to red line at the end of the straight. If you were able to lengthen the first 5 gears and essentially turn the car into a 5 speed and cut out the 6th gear I think you would notice a huge change. I felt like I was spending too much time shifting and not enough accelerating.
Hope this helps
fyi in my supra I ran a 1.22.355, if you’re quicker than that just take what I said with a grain of salt. sea salt if your health conscious.
