Hi all is anyone having the same issues as I’m having the fastest lap times I’ve achieved are not being recorded and the laps that are slower are. Also when I have a rival in career mode i don’t seem to beat them when I’m going flat out for it but when I make a mistake and get a slower lap it comes up with congratulations you beat …and so on this is happening loads I would really like to see if other people are having these bugs and if so for turn 10 to pull their fingers out and address this issue

You are likely setting dirty laps which are considered slower than a clean lap.
Laps can be dirty from having more than 2 tires off track
drafting someone
being drafted
using certain mods
Better off to set a slow lap and stay on track than to set a really fast one and end up cutting corners.

As above. It should be noted even if the lap doesn’t give you the dirty icon, it still can be recorded as dirty. The Showcases do not give the dirty icon but will do exactly what you noticed, slower lap being listed. Career mode seems to do this as well. It should be noted that it is not “Fastest Lap” but “Best Lap” that is displayed and clean is always better than dirty and a single foul dirty lap is better than a multiple foul dirty lap. I wish that at the end of the race you could see your time for each lap so you could see where you gained/lost against the other drivers.
