Push the brake pedal to 100% then it should be good. My g27 pedals do that. You have to tell the game what full travel is. I dont have cs pedals or forza 6 but i remember reading somewhere that you have to do that.
Did you update your wheel to newer firmware? It may also only be if you have the new Fanatec Clubsport V3 pedals. Just a guess and sorry if you mentioned it earlier so much posting lately trying to help many and I loose track of where I am and who has what. I guess that’s a sign that I am getting old. LOL
Hey guys glad this thread exists as will help me immensely so thank you.
However I’ve been having a lot of difficulty getting my wheel to work with the xbox.
I’ve tried the v226 driver + v219 drivers for the firmware update and still the xbox does not properly recognise the wheel.
The universal hub shows that it is connected (white light) and the buttons work on the home menus on the xbox OS. However in the Settings: devices + accessories the wheel is not shown. In game the hub buttons dont work nor do the pedals / gear shift.
I’ve tried everything in the manuals a few times over, tried going through fanatec support (disconnected 4 times from live chat and waiting on email) but to no avail.
If someone can run me through it or direct me to a clear guide to help with troubleshooting that would be great as I really want to try racing with a wheel (have held out after missing the original csr E wheel!)
I’m an idiot, I thought they were named differently old and new hub and I thought it wasn’t coming out until the end of October…but it’s just the wheel rim I want that is released later.
I am using the settings suggested in this thread for the most part with the latest firmware for the v2 CSW. For the most part, I am very happy with the driving experience. One thing that I am having trouble with is the tendency for the rear end to become very loose; sometimes, when I enter a corner with the accelerator almost fully depressed I hear skidding and I immediately loose control of the rear. As far as the tire heat indicator, it looks fine. The curious thing is that It doesn’t happen at all when I use the controller.
What setting affects such behavior? Just as an FYI it was much worse with the default advanced in game and wheel settings.
try the race diff, base tune to 60/40 for slow cars, 70/40 for fast cars, increase accel or decal to reduce sliding, reduce accel or decel to maximize steering response
